Cleverly written and really rather beautiful book about the life of a young boy growing up in a broken home. Heart wrenching at times making it a difficult story to read, but so well told from different perspectives. Wonderfully read - I had the audiobook version - with the Welsh words and phrases spoken and then explained so I didn't need to grab a dictionary to figure out what was happening!

I think it's a well written story but it didn't keep my attention. Not my cup of tea

A haunting tale of friendship through trauma. I found the pace a little slow and struggled to get into the book but glad I persevered. It's not a happy book but well written.
