The main character Stella has such relatable thoughts which makes her feel more real and 3 dimensional. This was the longest slow burn but in the best way possible. Also who doesn’t love a romance novel set in Europe!

I had to go back multiple times to make sure this was a debut novel because it was amazingly well written!
While the characters are the typical personas in a romance novel, they were also unique in their own ways. Both the FMC and the MMC are in the wedding photography business -- him being one of the best and her just starting her journey. You can tell the author has a background in photography. While it might not be everyone's interest or hobby, the author doesn't shove it in your face with too many explanations or terms you won't understand. It was done in the most subtle and sophisticated way!
You can find some amazing tropes but also a lot more in here -- PTSD representation along with occuring panic attacks, two characters that try to deny their attraction to one another, time spent in a gorgeous castle in France, a weekend getaway in hot and romantic Italy, the "I will kill him if he touches you again" (*swoon*), a hero with a Matthew McConaughey type of smirk, a heroine that is Italian and Welsh, a lot of fun side characters that each had their own fleshed out personality and much much more.
If you love Emily Henry and Tessa Bailey but want less smut (there's a lot of talk about s*x but when it comes to it it's like 95% closed door) -- read this book. The tension alone was *chef's kiss* 🤌🏻.

Seriously, pick this book up. I can't believe it's not more popular!

This books had so much potential for 5 stars. SHOOTERS is a cute and fun slow burn about Connor and Stella. Connor Knight is a high profile wedding photographer and Stella Price is a novice with a good eye. Stella embarks on a retreat where Connor teaches several other photographers how to be better at photography. Instantly Connor and Stella have an attraction which neither wants to act upon.

The characters in this books are what truly makes this book great! Aside from Stella and Connor, Julia Boggio created fantastic unique characters that add depth and just feel real. From Liliwen the happily married older woman who has a plethora of sexual stories to Ula the maybe adult actress slash house cleaner cousin to Oliwier and Paulina. Oliwier and Paulinas wedding and just whole story makes me die of laughter just thinking about it. All the characters had real life problems that anyone could relate to, which makes this book that much more likable.

In addition to the characters Julia Boggio was able to give readers such a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Although there is a lot of sexual themes in this book the spicy was very sparce and light leaving a lot up to the imagination. It is a nice refresher to just have a sweet and almost innocent rom com now a days.

Where I felt this book was lacking was the depth between Connor and Stella. Connor and Stella had very real issues and although Connor had wanted to address and talk about these issues, it never happened. The issues where just brushed off and everything was fixed with a good old Dolly Parton song and some drag. Had the characters actually talked through their issues this would easily have been a 5 star read.

If you are looking for a fast paced, easy to read rom com, this is the one.

What a enjoyable reading experience this was. I believe this is Ms. Boggio’s debut novel and if so, she has written the ultimate money shot. When her marketing career blew up under the most deplorable conditions, Stella Price turns to wedding photography to turn her life around. Considering herself lucky to secure a spot in a course taught by master photographer, Connor Knight in France, she forges forward with her new career aspirations. Stella has just come off a disastrous affair with her married boss which ruined her former career and she has no intention of getting involved with another man.

Connor is a known womanizer and a major commitment-phobe, but Stella finds herself strongly attracted to him and it seems the feeling is returned. Their attraction carries over back into their real lives as they meet up at the wedding shoot from hell that Stella contracted through her house cleaner.

I was greatly pleased with this book and the author’s writing which flowed so smoothly from chapter to chapter. Almost from the start I was cheering for Stella and Connor even though it seemed their differences were too much to overcome. The supporting cast of characters were perfect and entertaining in all the right spots and added much to this delightful rom-com..

Many thanks to the publisher, Books Go Social, and to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest opinion. I gave it four stars!

This was such an entertaining fast-paced read. I was hooked from chapter one.

Boggio made such real characters. Stella Price has strengths and flaws that made her who she is.

In “Shooters”, we follow Stella’s journey as she changes her career to follow her true dreams, photography. Stella travels to study under Connor Knight. Her and Connor instantly have a spark between them. Stella’s journey turns around quick with her first wedding shoot.

I loved this romcom! It had so many laugh out loud moments. Although, I do wish I could’ve seen Stella and Connor work through their issues. It was rushed through.

I really liked this book at the beginning - it follows Stella who is starting out as a wedding photographer after she had to unexpectedly leave her previous job.

It did mean that there were pages and pages describing weddings she was shooting - it just didn't really interest me to read so much about random characters' weddings.

All in all, not a bad book for a lazy Sunday read.

Such an entertaining read with one of the most organic characters I've ever read. I mean seriously, I'm convinced Stella is a real person

In SHOOTERS, Stella Price decides to start a career in wedding photography after an affair ends her former career as an advertising copywriter. In hopes to kick start her career, she travels to France to study photography under the tutelage of Connor Knight, aka the best in the game. Stella's life turns into a whirlwind of eccentric clients, strong women, and extremely attractive photographer who captures her heart.😏

I absolutely loved the character Boggio created. Stella is so real. I mean, this might be the realest character I've ever read in a book. The amount of personality and traits she gave her character made me so happy, especially because so many characters nowadays just follow an archetype. Stella had many strengths along with flaws which made her feel so human. I am truly impressed.

The only thing holding me back from giving this book 5 stars would be the ending. For a book that gave so much depth to its characters, the problems between Stella and Connor felt so brushed off. It felt somewhat rushed and left me with some hesitancy over how strong the relationship really is, a feeling you don't really want at the end of a romance book.

Overall, this book felt fresh and really satisfied me after reading a string of romance novels that had basic characters with a predictable story line. I laughed, I swooned, and I felt genuine second hand embarrassment. I hope this book goes viral so it gets the hype it deserves.

This was a fun, cute, and sexy read! I loved the cover so much, I barley read the summary before deciding to give it a shot. I thought it was pretty fast paced, but a little sluggish in some places. That didn't stop me from reading this within a day, though! I liked all the characters, too! Stella and Connor are so fiery together in all the best ways! I wouldn't quit call it enemies-to-lovers but these two definitly needed to warm up to each other in order to take a real chance with each other. Overall, very cute and unique story here.
Thank you for the ARC!!! :)

The storyline was well developed although it was a little slow in places and needed a push to get going but it soon picked up and it was an addictive read for me

Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for providing the ARC. in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book is about Stella who is changing her career from being a pharmaceutical copywriter to a wedding photographer. To make the career transition Stella decides to take a course with Connor Knight a successful and well-known wedding photographer at his place in France.

This book is a slow burn romance which I do not normally like, but I did absolutely like this one. It did take me a while to get into the book, but once Stella and Connor started interacting with each other more I really got into it the story. I loved the banter between Stella and Connor and that Connor called her Mademoiselle chicken. I liked that Stella was funny, prone to embarrassing herself in front of Connor and that her super power was winning thumb wars! Stella's best friend Claudia was hilarious and one of my favorite characters in the book. I love it when the main female character has at least one close female friend since a lot of romance books do not have that.

This is a book I could not put down read in 1 sitting, long after my bed time. Characters were so relatable and likeable you just wanted the best. The locations were gorgeous and you really felt you were there.

That ending, without giving spoiler, one of my favourites I've read in a while!

I read this book in one sitting and finished at 3am.

What makes this book great is that there's so much substance to it. The characters feel very real and nothing feels rushed, the events take place over a good amount of time so you really get to know everyone. I particularly loved the part of the book where the characters that attended the course are all in the Chateau, the dynamics of everyone worked so well and it really felt like I was there with all these people and I could just imagine exactly what they were like. The witty british humour made this so much more enjoyable too.

I thought the third person narrative was an interesting choice and was skeptical at first but it worked. It gives enough so you know how Stella is feeling but it's not over the top or rambling.
Another reason I think I liked this book so much was that it handles anxieties way better than almost every other book I've read. I knew exactly how Stella was feeling because that's how I feel in those situations, and I appreciated that it was represented in a way that doesn't dramatise it.

This is not a cliche copy paste romance, this is a fun, well-crafted story with depth, emotion, gorgeous settings, and strong characters you will fall in love with. Can't wait to purchase a physical copy when this is released!

Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for providing the ARC.

I loved this. The pacing of it was great - there was something more realistic about it than the romance novels I’ve been reading recently, with Stella falling first and Connor being quite a bit behind her. Stella was so likeable and I also enjoyed the side storylines so much - of Ula and Claudia especially! I loved the settings of Italy and France and the slow burn of the love story. The epilogue was adorable 🥰
