I can't really make a call on liking/not liking this book. Why? The so-called plot of this book is way out there and its claims are - I have no word/words for it. If you're in for a completely different take on the beginnings and evolution of humanity, religion, civilization and technology, this is the book for you!

(If you read the bibliography, at least some aspect of "way out there" will make sense.)

If you're looking for a book that will challenge your assumptions about the world, look no further than this one. The author presents his thoughts and reasons on why they believe that the origins of humanity are far more complex than we've been led to believe, and that the Roman Empire never truly fell but instead changed its name to the Roman Church. The book is filled with fascinating historical facts and documents. The writing is engaging and thought-provoking.

This book claims that Ancient Rome was actually a highly advanced space-faring race who came to Earth and genetically modified Neanderthals to create the human race. According to the author, the Roman race brought all the various disciplines of a complex civilization with them and did not invent anything except humans. The book asserts that the Roman Empire did not fall, but instead changed its name to the Roman Church. The text contains material that may permanently alter the reader's thinking process and is said to release them from the Matrix. The author warns readers not to read the book, but instead to thoughtfully and critically consider the facts.
