Hunted concludes the trilogy well. Feeding off of the cliffhanger from Taken, Alex and Maddy are running from the Cappadocians. Sticking with past and present elements and well developed characters I've come to adore. I felt the element of threat was high in this one and fed the atmospheric tension well. I did not see a lot of the twists coming either and liked how everything turned out by the end.

Fast paced, historical, romantic and one that keeps you flipping pages! This series is perfect for fans of K.F. Breene, Sarah J. Maas and Tracy Wolff.

Thank you to Netgally, the publishers, and Shalini Boland

When I requested this book I was unaware that it was apart of a series, one that requires you to read the previous books for this one to make sense. I am unable to read all the previous books along with this one before the publish date. Therefore, I will rate this a fair 3/5 stars and will adjust the rating and review when I am able to read all the books in the series along with this one.

New threats and a return to the vampire underworld - and boy can we finally remove those ancient threats! So hard for a human to be with a vampire these days! The Marchwood saga continues - action, new threats, and hmmm - will she ever turn?

Hunted by Shalini Boland is the third book in the new Marchwood Vampires series............and what another brilliant series this was. I have loved these books especially the way Shalini writes its so magical from the very first page till her very last. It's a romantic supernatural adventure that spans the centuries........

Falling in love has never been so dangerous.............

Maddy and Alex are running scared. The Cappadocian vampires are closing in. But Alex is so busy worrying about the vampires, he can’t see the terrible threat right under his nose…

Something else is hunting Alexandre. Something ancient and powerful.

Will they both survive?

Be swept away in this heart-pounding tale of ancient legends, star-crossed love and nail-biting supernatural adventure.

Sadly, this is the climatic finale of The Marchwood Vampire Series and what a brilliant series this has been. It just took my breath away. Wonderful!

WoW!!!! Well, You will just need to read it. It will not disappoint. Just magical and a brilliant read! Especially if you loved reading Twilight or The Vampire Diaries this is a series for you.

I highly recommend Hidden. 5 star read.

Big Thank you to NetGalley and Second Sky for this ARC

It was an amazing adventure that reminds us of the value of family. I loved the behind stories that Shalini wrote, to help round out and give history to the modern story.

I'm so glad I didn't have to wait for this book, as after book 2 I was desperate to see what happened next! Absolutely love this series. Would definitely recommend!

This book filled me with so many emotions, happiness, sadness, intrigue. Its a shame it was the last one in the series and this one pulled me back in after book 2, it had adventure, romance, loyalty, family and the dual storylines of past and present worked so well as Shalini always does.

I enjoyed the final book in this series and it did wrap up nicely at the end. But I have to admit I wanted a little more action and romance from the main characters! It was well written and I enjoyed the authors writing style a lot and found the story did have a nice flow.
I definitely recommend if you enjoy Fantasy and Vampires.

There was nothing wrong with this book however I just felt a bit disappointed with the third book. That could be because the first book was such a great set up atmosphere and second book carried on so well. This book just didn't have the same feel for me.

Wow! I’m just truly amazed by Shalini Boland! This was my 3rd book in the vampire series. This book was something like deeply, darkly beautiful.
And precision characters to boot! Thoroughly enjoyed this novel.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book

Although it pains me to say it as they are all fabulously addictive and engrossing books, the third is the weakest of the three. I think it was all down to one point, one character just really annoyed me. She doesn't fit and I wanted to shout at the others for letting her mess everything up! As before, a well thought out story, Ben and Maddy, shocks abounding from the first page. I so desperately want them to have some hard earned happiness and peace in their lives and once again they end up on a frantic mission to save their vampire friends and relatives and even Ben and Maddy, from a fate far worse than death. Well told interweaving stories from the very distant past again take you on a journey. It is all so cleverly laid out that you hardly realise until it all does finally make sense. Fabulously gripping and tense, even if it felt frustrating at times, these books are a thrilling way to immerse yourself if not for eternity then for long enough to live with the Marchwood Vampires through times of re adjustment, trials and trauma. I love these books, characters and stories and their world, I can highly recommend a visit!

Hunted is a more than just a fitting conclusion to the Marchwood Vampire trilogy; Shalini Boland masterfully ties up loose ends and she delivers a fast paced, action filled, thrilling and emotional ride. This kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last page (and I still wanted more) . If you’re a fan of the vampures, PNR or just looking for a wonderful trilogy to read, I highly recommend this series. I’m hoping one day we get more, but I’m glad I got such a brilliant read

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Hunted: Book Review

Author: Shalini Boland
Genre: YA, Supernatural Romance, Paranormal Romance, Vampire Fiction
**Warning: this review contains spoilers**
If you’re a fan of supernatural romance, and specifically the vampire genre, then the Marchwood Vampire trilogy by Shalini Boland is a must-read. The story in all three books follows Madison Greene, a human girl in love with a 19th-century teenager-turned-vampire named Alexandre. Despite their intense connection, their relationship has never been easy.
In the third and final installment of the series, Hunted, author Shalini Boland delivers a thrilling conclusion to this story of vampires and humans living in the small English town of Marchwood. Hunted, picks up where the second book left off and delivers an action-packed conclusion to the series.

In this book, the narrative pivots around the complications and heightened emotions that arise when a blue-eyed beauty named Nadia enters the picture–she seems intent on her goal to drive a wedge between Maddie and Alexandre. As Madison delves deeper into Nadia’s true intentions, she uncovers centuries-old secrets. Eventually, Sofia/Aelia, as well as the Marchwood crew (Maddie, Alexandre, Esther, Morris, Isobel, Jacques, Freddie, and the newly minted vampire Ben) convince Nadia to help them in their conflict with the Cappadocian vampire coven. To do this, they must all return to the ancient underground city.
As with the previous books in the series, Boland’s writing style is immersive and captivating, drawing the reader into the world of vampires and their complex relationships. The character development is excellent, particularly in the case of Madison and Alexandre, whose bond is both heartwarming and fraught with tension. As the story progresses, the stakes are raised, and the tension builds to an explosive climax. Boland does an excellent job of creating a sense of urgency and danger, making it difficult to put the book down.
One of the strengths of the Marchwood Vampire trilogy as a whole is the way it combines elements of traditional vampire lore with modern-day themes and issues. In Hunted, Boland continues this trend by exploring issues such as identity, trust, and acceptance. This adds depth and complexity to the story, elevating it beyond a typical vampire tale.
I don’t know if Boland has any plans to revisit Maddie and Alexandre’s fictional world, but I do know that I’d love to have a book or book series that explores the origins / creation of the vampires. And, I don’t know why, but I’d also love to read a short-story or standalone novel that narrates the original meeting between Winston Blythe and the Cappadocian vampires, outlines the building of the Hamilton Blythe legal, financial, and medical science empire.
Otherwise, I’d say that Hunted is a fitting conclusion to the Marchwood Vampire trilogy; it ties up loose ends and delivers an action-packed, emotional finale. It’s a well-written book that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end. Whether you’re a fan of the genre or just looking for a great read, I highly recommend giving this book – and the entire series – a chance.
I’d like to thank Second Sky Books, Shalini Boland, and NetGalley for providing access to ARCs of this trilogy in exchange for my honest review.

Consider how it brings some closure to Madison and Alex's lives.
Someone is hunting the vampires in this book, and the ancient vampires want them all dead.
Madison is concerned when Alex becomes ill, and they must travel to Turkey to find Sofia to see if she can assist.
However, things are not as they appear, and their entire lives are about to change.
This is an excellent book, and I wholeheartedly recommend the series.

Hunted: A page-turning dark fantasy romance is the conclusion of the Marchwood Vampire series. It is a YA paranormal romance that all ages can enjoy. In this book there is a threat to life as they know it in their happy bubble at Marchwood. A young woman has come around and she is both mysterious and beguiling. Her name is Nadia, and she is going to shake things up in this book.

Like the other books in this series, the book is told in the present and in the past. In the past, we see an ancient people, their lives, practices, and tribulations. We also see the emergence of a threat and a hunter.

In the present we see Maddy and Alex, along with their family members living at Marchwood until a stranger comes into the presence.

I enjoyed reading this series and the last book tied things up nicely for the characters. Shalini Boland created a unique world full of interesting characters and did her research to bring ancient cultures to life.

This was an enjoyable YA paranormal romance.
