Sarah and Keir's story continues
In this second book (of three? maybe more?), Sarah and Keir's romance continues to grow while they also endeavor to find out the fate of her sister, Kate. The Whickertons again are providing plenty of support as Sarah and Kate try to forge a safe future for themselves in a time where women's rights were only a far-off dream.
The writing is top-notch as the reader is quickly drawn into the story. Keir is a wonderful book boyfriend, strong and gentle, and Grandma Edie is once again pulling as many strings as she can. This is a delightful story so far, and I'm excited to see how it all works out. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This story is a great continuation of "Flames of Winter" with Keir MacKinnear and Sarah Mortensen along with the rest of the Whickerton family. This story adds the addition of an adventure which involves the Countess Birchwell who is Sarah's sister, Kate. The characters are wonderfully described and what happens next will keep you turning page after page. This book shows 2 book series. But when this book ends, it does appear there will be more to the story. I am anxiously waiting to see if this will be the case and another book will soon follow to continue with a new and different adventure.
I loved this story. I was amazingly beautiful. Keir was so protective and caring. His Scottish heritage was profound each time he was in contact with Sarah. Sarah was beautiful and so sweet. The romance was truly a happily ever after. The story was entertaining from the start. This is a page turner that readers will enjoy.
