Where do I go From Here is a real journey of discovery type of book and I really enjoyed it.
Trigger warning – early miscarriage and infertility.

Seffy is a woman about to hit thirty and she's divorced, childless and in a job that is sucking the life out of her.

Thanks to her best friend, she takes a sabbatical from her job to reflect upon her life and add to her Thirty Before Thirty bucket list.
I really related to Seffy in that longing for a child and how it can completely consume you and drive a wedge between you and your husband.
Like Seffy I also had a Thirty Before Thirty bucket list but mine was much more low-key than hers and I unfortunately did not jet off on a sabbatical!
The story is told through the present day story and also a journal of her trying to conceive with her then-husband, the entries become more and more upsetting as the year goes on.
I found this quite an emotional read but there were lots of laughs and lighter moments too.
The two friends she met in the hostel sounded like brilliant fun young women.
Seffy goes on such a journey in this story both physically and emotionally. And I really felt like I’d been transported away with her.
This book also serves a stark reminder about social media and the pressure to showcase the good times and how sharing your life milestones can have such a negative impact on others.
When we were trying to conceive every baby announcement felt like a kick to the stomach and every time I saw someone complaining about their child I felt so envious and angry that they didn’t realise how lucky they were.
Although at times this wasn’t an easy read, there’s so many humorous and lighter moments as Seffy works through her bucket list and an ending full of hope.
Many thanks to NetGalley, and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book but it was a roller coaster of emotions. Both uplifting and heartwarming, and, heart wrenching in equal amounts, it had me laughing out loud at times and reaching for tissues at others

What a read!!! I loved this author’s debut, I was instantly excited about this one and I can safely say that it hasn’t disappointed. I absolutely adore India Rigg books, I can safely say that you are guaranteed to fall in love.

Seffy is nearly thirty, childless and divorced. She sends an email requesting a sabbatical, her thoughts being, how it’s unfair to need a baby to have leave. I loved Seffy very quickly, she’s just real and likeable.

In parts, I have found this quite emotional. The infertility, the breakdown of her marriage- each part adds an emotional element to this book. I have been completely hooked in the pages. This is one I have devoured in just one sitting.

This is a brilliant masterpiece by this author, filled with love and hope. I have been completely caught up in the pages of this one. I became so caught up in this, I was unwilling to put this down.

This is another gem and should be on the TBR. India Rigg has written a delight with this one. I can’t wait for more.

When you're a person likes order and routines, what do you do when your plans don't work out?
Seffy and Luke are happily married, both have great jobs infact they have everything except a baby. It's not only destroying their relationship but Seffy's mental health is suffering too.
Through the pages we see how she tries to deal with the situation, her past and her future come to the forefront.
A great easy read.

Struggled a bit with this one as I didn’t really like the main character, however I’m glad I persevered with it, it came good by the end!

A truly heartfelt story of love, marriage, loss and friendship.

Seffy is 30-something with no children, an ex-husband, and a soul-sucking job. Thanks to a friend, she goes on a trip to change her life.

This is definitely an emotional read as it deals with some tough topics, like miscarriage, infertility, and marriage breakdown. It also highlights the dangers of social media (and it's why I hate the glossy, fake 'influencer' world).

However, the ending is perfect, and overall, it's beautifully written.

3.5 stars.

You can’t read this book if you are trying to get pregnant . It is two stories in one . I did not warm to the main character Seffy. I really felt for her but at times you wanted to shake her. Her husband Luke was lovely but a man at times!!!!Harry her best friend was a real friend. . You cried at times and laughed. The ending was perfect..

This was fabulous. It really speaks to the world we are living in - fighting to fit into a hard role, dealing with a partner, divorce and fertility issues.
Beautiful images of a trip round the world - not romanticised and looked at through rose tinted glasses. A real and honest tale that spoke to me.

A Plan In Place..
The trauma of a broken marriage and an infertility diagnosis is dragging Seffy down to the lowest of the low levels. Social media is more of a burden than a joy. Where does she go from here? There is a plan in place, however, and Seffy takes it. Will she soon realise the real meaning of life and what really is important? Emotional and raw in places and soon to be life affirming for the protagonist, a heart wrenching tale laced with humour and warmth.

I enjoyed India's previous book so I was excited for this one. However, I DNF early on. I was outting aside my beliefs about traditional life (getting married and children is a must according to society, not to me) but when I reached a bit where the main character talks about infertility saying that she is supposed to accept it because is not a terminal illness I gave up. Having the ability or not to have children cannot be compared to any type of illness, saying that basically a terminal illness you accept it and get on with your life whereas not being able to have children cannot be seen like that. I find it disrespectful.

What a read!
TW - loss, early miscarriage, infertility
Seffy is a woman about to hit thirty. She's divorced, childless, with a job that sucks the life out of her.
Thanks to her best friend, she ends up on a sabbatical to reflect upon her life and add to her Thirty Before Thirty bucket list.
Parallel to the present-day story is a journal of her year trying to conceive with her then-husband.
It took me longer than usual to read this book since it is focused so much on Seffy's infertility journey, and some parts made me quite emotional.
Social media and the habit of sharing your good news and perfect life over the realities mean that often you are presented with image upon image and post upon post of people achieving exactly what you are struggling with. Even though you want to be happy, it is tough, sometimes, to be able to smile through the pain.
I felt this pain with Seffy but also saw her growth as she travels and meets different people who make her realise that her life doesn't have to be incomplete just because her journey to motherhood will never be a simple one.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Hodder & Stoughton for an ARC.

Thanks to Hodder & Stoughton and Netgalley for a review copy of this book. This is a novel of one woman’s journey to accept her infertility and understand who she really is and not how she perceives others identify her.

Seffy is approaching thirty and the mental list of all the things she planned for her life has many ticks, but the most important one, having a baby, she has just learned, is out of reach. That discovery sends her on a downward spiral that results in divorce and alienating herself from everyone. The only thing that seems possible to halt the downward trajectory is a sabbatical from her high pressured, but successful job and to go travelling. The journey becomes not only physical and emotional as she fights towards a better understanding of herself. Structured around both her present day journey and her past filtered through a kind of journal, the reader slowly comes to understand how Seffy’s past shaped her present. Both in this past and present are many heartfelt and extremely moving moments, some that will resonate with any woman who has struggled to have children. All in all in makes for a very satisfying and rewarding story that often shows great insight.

Reading Seffy story, remind me why i no longer using fb. It hard to be happy when someone else get the thing you dream of and that thing always end with question why not me Compare yourself to other will bring ungreatful thinking, sometimes it is nice to compare for introspection. I really enjoy Seffy journey! thirty under thirty bucket list! And each places she goes have different story to tell! The most important thing is Seffy find herself, reconnet again with herself, work trough her trauma, forgive and love herself.

Thank you to NetGalley for provide this book, it is pleasure to review this book.

A dual story about a marriage unraveling due to infertility and traveling to deal with the trauma of infertility.
What do you do when you feel as if your body betrays you?
Experiencing different situations and cultures meeting different people. Opening to the hurt and still moving forward.
Hard to read in places and it should be but still has the message of hope. See

This is a entertaining book about Seffy who works for a very demanding boss and wants a promotion before she is thirty, she is also struggling to get pregnant and then her husband Luke wants a divorce.
Seffy is feeling down hearted so her friends tell her to ask for a sabbatical from her job and that is what she does and goes travelling.
I enjoyed Seffy's adventures meeting new people and discovering nre things.
Highly recommend.
