Another great read by the brilliant David Baldacci!

This is a stand-alone but I think it will be a great start to a new series.

Mickey Gibson works for a company called ProEye, a global investigation company that hunts down wealthy tax and credit cheats. She use to work as a detective and also in forensics and these are skills she is suddenly called on to use. She is asked to do an inventory on a house but here she discovers a dead body. The request came from somebody working for the same company but a woman she's never met and it subsequently turns out that this woman does not exist and so Mickey's path crosses with that of a world class con artist. a Woman of many disguises. Who is this woman and who is the dead man? How are they linked and why did this woman pick Mickey to do her dirty work? Soon she needs to use all her cunning to try and figure everything out as she gets more and more involved in this game of cat-and-mouse.

There are quite a lot of characters and you need to keep your head at times. Also, some very interesting but for me confusing details on cryptocurrency and hiding money but all in all it was a very entertaining read!
