I loved this book. I forgot how much I love a Nora Roberts' book. She gets the perfect balance of thrill and romance. Gavin is a terrifying bad guy. The amount of damage he could cause with the identity theft added so much suspense. We obviously know who the bad guy is we just don’t know what he’s going to do next and how he’ll be stopped. I was hooked.

Morgan is badass and her family were adorable. Her changing relationship with her ladies was as enjoyable as her romantic relationship. I liked that we get to see her have a pity party and then dust herself off and grow so much stronger. Miles also has an incredible family and there are so many lovable characters. I would love to get to know more about Miles's siblings. Nora Roberts really knows how to set a scene and I could picture the gorgeous hotel and bar perfectly. If you like a bit more grit to your romance then I definitely recommend this one.

I received a copy of the ebook via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

This is Nora Roberts at her best , a story full of wonderful gusty characters who will not allow a twisted Psychopath/Sociopath to get to Morgan who is both a Victim & a Heroine in this wonderful suspense Romance . I will be highly recommending this book to many friends & some family members. #NetGalley, #GoodReads, #FB, #Amazon.co.uk, #Instagram, #<img src="https://www.netgalley.com/badge/8a5b541512e66ae64954bdaab137035a5b2a89d2" width="80" height="80" alt="200 Book Reviews" title="200 Book Reviews"/>, #<img src="https://www.netgalley.com/badge/ef856e6ce35e6d2d729539aa1808a5fb4326a415" width="80" height="80" alt="Reviews Published" title="Reviews Published"/>, #<img src="https://www.netgalley.com/badge/aa60c7e77cc330186f26ea1f647542df8af8326a" width="80" height="80" alt="Professional Reader" title="Professional Reader"/>.

There's never been a Nora Roberts book I didn't like, and this is no exception! Roberts has, quite publicly, moved away from writing straight-up romances, but that doesn't mean that there's no love. And boy is there love! From the love of friendship, and the grief of it torn apart so needlessly, to familial love that won't break no matter what, and to romantic love, the start of something new and beautiful. Roberts write with such love and kindness, and with skill that can only be hones through so many years.
A fantastic Nora Roberts, quick-paced, exciting, and in many ways comforting.

Morgan Albright is a women with a plan, she was brought up as an army brat and never got the chance to settle and have friends and roots anywhere.

Now as an adult she has settled herself with 2 jobs her own house, an house mate (that's more like her sister) and friends. She has a garden and a house that needs work, but she loves the time to do what she wants with her own property.

As an office manger in the day and a bartender at night she doesn't get much time to herself, but she is content with her life and has a plan where she will be in a few years time!

But sadly as Nora Roberts thrilling story goes Morgan doesn't get her plan and her world is turned upside down.

This is a great thriller with a plethora of twists and turns that keep you wanting to turn the next page, this is a very much recommended story that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish.

Wow. This book was an amazing read. Morgan is a hard-working woman holding down two jobs to afford her dream house. When a mysterious good looking bar patron asks her out she goes out of her comfort zone and excepys. This one mistake will turn her life upside down.

On the whole this is a fast paced thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It's told from both her side and the man's which I loved.

The only thing I didn't like and the reason I have it 4 stars and not 5, is her relationship with Miles. It just seemed to come out of nowhere. There was no real build up to it. In fact I even checked back to make sure my kindle hadn't slipped a chapter. It's a great match and the characters work well together but it felt rushed. I would have liked to read a bit more of a build up to it.

That being said I definitely recommend this book. I would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an advanced copy of Identity in return for a fair and honest review.

This book was a complete mix of two genres for me. A thriller which was well thought out and fascinating and a romance which at times seemed almost Mills & Boon like so not my cup of tea.
All in all a great idea but weighed down with too much of the other side of life for Morgan. Not everyone will see it like me and I can see it being a big hit.

Terrific read that takes you with it at quite a pace; I could not put it down. It tackles a now more common problem, Identity Theft and all the problems that ensue as a result. But in the mix with this is stalking, infatuation and murder!

It's a great new addition to Nora Roberts library and a must read - I gave it 5 stars and can't wait for the next novel she brings out.

A very enjoyable book, Morgan Albright is on track to make her dreams come true.
She has her small house, two jobs and a housemate who’s also her best friend, soon she’ll have her own bar.
Then in day all of this is taken from her. Can she start over ?

Morgan Albright has a plan. She owns her own home and is determined to find a way to make savings and continue to build her life. Her best friend Nina rooms with her, and when an attractive man starts talking to her at work she thinks she might be about to settle into a new relationship.
Unfortunately Luke isn’t who he claimed to be.
Luke is a skilled conman and serial killer. Morgan only learns this after she returns home one afternoon to find Nina dead, her car missing and soon finds thousands of pounds of debt accrued in her name. When the FBI turn up to tell Morgan this she feels a failure…but she’s the first of ‘Luke’s’ marks to survive, and they think she’ll prove useful in trying to track him down.
Over the course of the year we see Morgan head back home to live with her mother and grandmother. She finds new work and slowly starts to settle down. She is regularly updated by the FBI agents as Luke’s killing continues and we know he is determined to make the one that got away pay.
It was hard not to come to care for this character and it was horribly scary to see just how easy it could be for someone to steal your identity. Our killer became increasingly frenzied and unhinged, and Morgan’s skill at reading people came in handy at the tense finale.
Thanks to NetGalley for giving me the chance to read and review this before publication.

What an author Nora Roberts is.

Identity is an outstanding book, simply couldn´t put it down. Morgan Albright has her identity stolen, but she´s not the first victim and certainly not the last. Her life is turned upside down especially when her roommate suffers the fate intended for her.

Utterly gripping, very topical and didn´t want the story to end!!

My thanks to NetGalley and Little, Brown Book Group UK for giving me the opportunity to read an advanced digital copy in return for a honest review.

Morgan lives with her best friend Nina and works as a bartender. Morgan is befriended by Luke at the bar and when Nina and Morgan host a dinner party it ends in a murder. It soon becomes apparent that 'Luke' is not a good guy and is, in fact, a con artist who steals people's identities. Morgan discovers that she was his true target and he is coming back for her.

I really liked the premise of this book and the first half I really enjoyed. However, I felt that the second half really lost its momentum. This had the potential to have a lot of suspense but we spend a lot of time with Morgan living a 'normal' life and almost seems to forget that someone is after her.

Overall not my favourite from this author however, I will continue to read any future books.

Nora Roberts has this amazing ability to masterfully craft stories, that draw you in from the start and make it impossible to stop reading. This book was really, really good. It made me feel all the feels and I could see how Gavin’s decline into madness slowly took over his life. This is a story about strength and finding your happiness and I highly recommend it.

The latest Nora Roberts standalone novel follows Morgan Albright, working 2 jobs to achieve her goal of owning her own home and putting down roots doesn't leave a lot of time for romance. When a new guy waljs into the bar se works at she doesn't think there can be any harm in going on a date or two with him.
Then her house mate is murdered and her life is turned upside down when she becomes a victim of identity theft. Struggling with grief, credit card bills, mortgage problems and much more she finds it hard to believe the nice guy she met has transformed her life for the worse.
Escaping home to her mother and grandmother she starts to rebuild her life whilst she looks over her shoulder for the man who wants to destroy her as the one who got away.

A classic Roberts story and so scary to realise how someone could so easily steal your identity and turn your life upside down.

"Identity" by Nora Roberts is the story Morgan Albright, who dreams of owning a bar of her own and works two jobs to make her dreams come true. Her life, as she knows it, is destroyed by a serial killer, who kills her best friend and continues to target her. The book takes the reader through Morgan's journey from this horrific event back into the arms of her family, and leads her to the man who will make it all the trouble worthwhile.

The book is pure escapism into what I would call Nora Roberts' world! It is full of mildly squabbling but ultimately happy and supportive families, the kind that most people want but never have. The book is pretty formulaic and the plot very similar to most of Nora Roberts' other books, but it still draws the reader in, connects you with the life and dreams of Morgan and those around her, and in the end leaves you wanting more.

If you like to read about roller-coaster, which have happy endings, then this is another one of Roberts' books that should not be missed.

Brilliant from the very first page. Gripping, interesting, great characters who were depicted very well. A well developed plot, a bit of romance.
A thriller, in true Nora Robert’s style, which I loved.

WOW A great book, Nora thoroughly got in to Gavin's head and the way he thought and felt about the women he killed and why. Shocked and horrified at how easy it was for him to steal Morgan's finances away from her, this is so like real life.
Morgan's life could have gone down hill but she toughed it out and reinvented herself only for Gavin to turn up again.
The book shows how each of them coped after the trauma of Nina murder, by changing view points now and again to great effect.

A great book thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Morgan meets a man who turns out to be someone different than who he portrays himself to be. Nora Roberts is my favourite author and I know I will never be disappointed with her books and I definitely wasn't disappointed in Identity. It's a page turning romantic suspense and boy does the suspense build. It's a little longer than the average book but every word just gripped me more. I liked the characters particularly Morgan and I loved reading about her working the bar. A real page turner!
