Nora Roberts is a great writer, I simply love her writing.

This book was a perfectly balanced romantic suspense that I couldn’t stop reading. I always look forward to a new Nora Roberts or J. D. Robb book, because I’m never disappointed.

I fell right into this story, the characters lives, the suspense and the romance. I admire the main character, Morgan, how she worked so hard for her dreams. Also, the connection between her and Miles was fantastic and it was great to read about their families and the love between all of them and their connection.

The plot of Identity is very addicting and the story is highly detailed and unique. I was completely captivated until the end.

I can’t wait for the next book from Nora Roberts.

Always a special day when I start a new Nora Roberts and as always this one is excellent. Morgan Albright is a hard worker and knows what she wants in her work life and at home. When tragedy strikes and everything is taken from her Morgan has to step up and reclaim her life adversity makes her stronger and she finds everything she wasn’t looking for. A tense read that has you racing through the pages to find out what happens.

I love Nora Roberts’ books and this might just be the best yet!

I was gripped from start to finish and devoured this book.

I loved the characters, all of them. The quirks, the flaws and the love. The book is so easy to read.

The story follows Morgan, who is an independent woman, working hard to build her future. Until she finds herself having a near miss with a serial killer!

While Morgan thinks her life is destroyed, she learns that going back to your roots is sometimes what you need.

A story of love, loss, family, and starting again, this is a must read!

Morgan Albright has a plan of her life goals, working two jobs she now owns her own home and has Nina her friend as paying lodger. Her aim is to save enough to buy her own bar.
Returning from work one evening she discovers Nina strangled, Morgan finds she was the intended victim. Gavin a customer at the bar slowly got her to trust him and she had welcomed her into her home. Finding that Gavin had also stolen her identity by hacking into her computer she loses everything she has worked for, her house, savings and car. Now having been left penniless and homeless she returns to Vermont to live with her mother and grandmother.
The FBI inform Morgan that Gavin is still murdering women and stealing all they own, not having finished the job with her she is warned he will come after her.
Most of the story is taken up with Morgan’s new employment as bar manager at a very popular hotel. She starts a relationship with one of the co owners. We follow her progress over a couple of years, meanwhile Gavin continues to murder and wreck horror on peoples lives, this is written as a sideline to the main story
An enjoyable read but certainly more romance than thriller, concentrating on Morgan’s new life. There were no great moments of suspension and the ending when it eventually came was soon done and dusted.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for this eARC.

I haven't read any of Nora Roberts books in some years and I have to say I really enjoyed Identity. I think it is beautifully written, as a read it flows seamlessly and I found I really connected with most of the characters who were portrayed so well and became alive in my mind when reading. I really liked Morgan who returns home to her family to start again. I liked that the story is told through the different characters, one of who I loathed and couldn't wait to see them get their come uppance.

This book has everything I like - great writing, a good plot line that is all to believable in todays world, characters I instantly took to and rooted for throughout, romance, suspense and family drama. For me, this was a feel good, uplifting read that had the best ending and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book to other readers.

This is the Nora Roberts I love. A young woman building a life for herself, finding love and support within her family, finding new friends and falling in love while a mad man hunts her. I'd never really thought about the fall out of having your identity stolen but this shows just how devastating it can be. There are many of the classic Nora Roberts tropes, characters that are extremely hard working, a dog, a serial killer, side characters who also fall in love. My one complaint is that the relationships felt a little rushed and without much development.
