In this book, we join Pedro as he explores his passion for the environment. He teaches us about renewable energy, shares tips for saving water, and suggests other ways we can all help protect our planet.

Pedro has a conscious way of living, put down in the form of book, it might not interest children, but this can help them to start living this way. Our planet suffers a lot from our reckless behavior and needs. We easily crop a tree without planting one back, for example. This book will help children to recycle when necessary, or not even buying things we don't need. They also wrote about how important trees are.

I accessed a digital review copy of this book from the publisher.
The book tells about Pedro's efforts to help the planet. It also gives a lot of information about how to help the earth and be a good steward of nature.

This book was great for my little earth loving child. The pictures engaged her and the book gave her some ideas she wanted to try implementing herself.

I found this Nature Heroes book and absolutely had to share. It’s a bit longer than most picture books and seem like a really great option for slightly older kids (6-8ish) to dig into environmental issues and animal rescue.

The book surrounds Pedro as he takes us along to visit his class’ eco cabin. He talks about how different forms of transportation are more or less healthy for the environment, planting vegetables and even bee keeping and recycling. Each location has a clear set up that makes it easy to build on your own if you’d like. I loved that it explains different ways to help the planet in thorough, but kid friendly, language.

This is a very engaging and lively narrative from the author. Jess has concluded all that must be there to guide and make aware people about saving the planet by sustaining the resources and make habit to reuse the recyclables and natural source of energy. There is everything one must demand for, to make enroute to understand the importance of our plant, precisely 'Nature' to the depth. I really want to gift this book to Illiterate Greta Thunberg & aberrant Vanessa Nakate, the so-called fake activists, to let them acknowledge correctly on the matter. Their ambiguity on the subject needs focus.

I really loved the way it was told and illustrations are very apt and expressive of the matter this book content on each page. Jess herself is a vet and understand the language that most do not. She is a conservation hero and her way to teach readers about environmental issues is something I appreciate here. She is as beautiful as her writing. I really would like to cover all her books. One can also watch her, on her television programme "Minibeast Adventure", on 'CBeebies'.

In a Nutshell: Full of information and practical tips about how to live a planet-friendly life.

Pedro loves planet Earth. To protect our world and the animals and plants that share the planet with us, Pedro has joined his school’s eco club. Through a day’s outing with this club, Pedro (and his friends) educate us on how we can change our habits and make them more planet-friendly.

Just as in Ava’s story, the book is chockablock with ideas and themes. There are so many excellent points explored in these pages: the role of the atmosphere, the danger of increasing greenhouse gases, renewable energy, water conservation and recycling, opting for a veggie-intensive diet instead of a meat-dominated one, not wasting food, plastic pollution, purchasing sustainable products, the seven Rs of waste management, and a lot more! It might feel a bit too much. Then again, it also serves as a one-stop resource for everything connected to the topic.

Pedro is also accompanied by Buzz the bumblebee, who inserts his witty remarks on many pages.

The book ends with a practical list of easy tips that child can follow to become a ‘Planet Hero’.

This book is a part of the Nature Heroes series that focuses on a group of friends who are passionate about nature. Each book features a different child who has a favourite topic that they are fascinated by: ‘Billy Loves Birds’, ‘Bella Loves Bugs’, ‘Ava Loves Rescuing Animals’ and ‘Pedro Loves the Planet’! The other children from this series – Ava, Bella and Billy – also make an appearance in this book.

The vocabulary is manageable for older kids in the target age group of 4-7 years. Some of the words such as sustainability are inherently tough, but the book does provide a simple definition wherever it is needed.

The illustrations are shaded in muted earth tones reminding us on every page that this is a book about loving nature and planet Earth. Once again, I found them somewhat on the duller side, so this is a book I would recommend for the content and not the sketches.

Definitely recommended to homes, schools as well as libraries. I hope adults also read this book so that they can change their habits and ensure a better, safer future on this planet for our children.

4.5 stars.

My thanks to Quarto Publishing Group – Frances Lincoln Children's Books and NetGalley for the DRC of “Pedro Loves Saving the Planet”. This review is voluntary and contains my honest opinion about the book.

In Pedro Loves Saving the Planet: A Fact-filled Adventure Bursting with Ideas!
we learn many of the countless ways to save our planet by living and traveling simply, recycling, composting and appreciating everything green. While the content is just fine, I can't help feeling there is something missing.

As with Ava Loves Rescuing Animals: A Fact-filled Nature Adventure Bursting with Animals!, the illustrations by Duncan Beedie look computer-generated, and are disappointingly bland and uninteresting. I am not a fan.

This is a children's series I will not continue.

A great book that teaches kids, in an understandable way, about how to be kind to mother earth. I will deff want this for my own kid when she is older.

I received a copy of this book through Netgalley. This is my honest review.

This is a short story about a woke little kid trying to be eco friendly. He explains small steps that we can take in our everyday lives that can have a big impact overall on our world. I feel like these were things I learned about in school, although the way some people act now, people I went to school with even, maybe I didn't. Or maybe I learned them in a different timeline and have since moved into the worst timeline.

The illustrations were bright and colorful with crisp lines showing examples for the steps we can take to help save our planet, or at least make it livable for a little bit longer. Overall I give this book 4.13 out of 5 stars.

There are many ways to save the planet, but we all need to know why and how. In this book we learn
how the atmosphere works, why simple transport is better for the environment, what is renewable vs non-renewable energy, how to save water at home, how to recycle, how to garden and compost, the importance of trees, how to save energy at home, and how much fun it is to be outside in green places.
The illustrations by Duncan Beedie are fun, simple, colorful, and delightful.
Excellent for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, but especially to a school or your public library!
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from Quarto Publishing Group/Frances Lincoln Children's Books/Happy Yak via NetGalley. Thank you!

This was a very cute book for teaching young minds about the environment. It is neve4 too early to begin teaching little ones abt the importance of caring for the environment and the impact it will have on their future. We meet Pedro a young boy passionate about saving the environment in this particular book. Very sweet with beautiful full color illustrations I feel Pedro will inspire many young minds to want to help save our planet.

Thank you, Quarto Publishing Group- Frances Lincoln Children’s Books, for the advance reading copy.

This book tells the various activities our little guy, Pedro, is involved with who is quite passionate about the environment. He’s interested in making a sustainable environment, save and grow plants, reduce plastic waste and recycling.

I find the concept quite appealing and accessible for the reading audience. The illustrations are quite in sync with the writing and the tit bits given in each page.

Highly recommended!
