This book is great fun! What I loved most, however, is that is mixes a brilliant highly-engaging adventure with bags of historical facts. The time machine on top of the toilet twist is really funny and an extremely memorable detail and you get multiple time travel stories for your money! There's some great characters, loads of humour and some great championing of female achievements. With a quirky title and fabulous detail this really is as exciting as explorers and milkshakes mixed together.

An excellent addition to the books available for those newly confident readers. It is a delightful mix of adventure, excitement and humour, mixed in with lots of fascinating information for the would be scientist. there are now two in the series and I can't wait for more.
