While this book definitely had some good things to say (and some things I wish I would have known in high school) something about the writing style kind of bothered me. It was condescending and cheesy at the same time I think? However, it does still give teens good tips and tricks to handle different scenarios they may face in high school.

M. A. Gallant is a wonderful author with a medical background (and much more). She has written a clear, relatable book for any teenager to help them with adolescence and surviving the growing years into adulthood. I loved the Bill of Rights section, and the section on setting Boundaries the most. As a parent of two and an educator, I can see this book being a HUGE help to all families. This book will help teens with social skills, anxiety, communication and a lot more. Highly needed in today’s culture and will remain relevant for years to come. Congrats to Ms. Gallant for her contribution to society. Thank you to the publisher via NetGalley for this opportunity to review this book. All opinions are voluntary and my own.
