This is a great collection of lullabies and nursery rhymes for reading to babies/young children. There’s also some great illustrations to go along with them to. Highly recommend.
I love the title of this book and had to read it. This is not a discourse on reading for parents and/or why you should read to your baby, but a lovely gift book of old songs and rhymes. If you don't know the words to the lullabys your grandmother or mother may have sang to you, this is the book for you. The embroidered page illustrations add to the charm. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
Very sweet read if you have a newborn or know somone that does.full of beautiful illustrations and lullabies this is a delightful book to add to your nursery.
Read to your Baby Every Night

This book is quite aesthetic with those little flowers and those drawing. It's such a pretty book to read with every picture attached to the end of the nursery rhymes. I have a 3 year old nephew. Reading and storytelling helps toddlers such as my nephew learn about sounds, words and language. Reading stories like this book stimulates imagination, develops social skills and helps them learn about the world. I try to read daily with my nephew. I ask toddlers to fill in the words in stories they know, and name what they see in the pictures. His favorite nursery rhymes is You are my sunshine. He even remember how to sing the song. It's really help his talking skill.
I really love the embroidery illustration! It is new to me, i never see embroidery illustration in children books. Happy to see one! The story have a good rhytm too. Will definetly buy it for a gift!
I will definitely get this book for gifting!
The book is so beautiful. Reading and singing along with it (naturally cos it’s rhymes!), I find the writing and the cute little illustrations so soothing.
The book serves its purpose more than I expected. So worth it.
Thank you, Quarto Publishing Group- Frances Lincoln Children’s Books, for the advance reading copy.
This is an adorable book to read to your baby at night. It brought back many memories of singing lullabies to my son at night when he was first born. He still asks me to sing for him sometimes. This would be a great gift for any new parent. The embroidered designs on the pages are simple and beautiful.
Five out of five stars! A wonderful book of 30 sweet stories to read to your baby. I would recommend this book to any new parents! Thank you to the publisher for this arc via NetGalley. I voluntarily read it and all opinions are my own.
