The writing in this book I would say is very interesting. And honestly I struggled with it at times, it does tend to suit the book as you go along but I did notice myself struggling with it. Theres a ton of references to things like Shakespeare so if you love Shakespeare this book is absolutely perfect for you. Marys character was also super interesting! I'm glad I read a different genre then I usually read and came out of my little bubble because if I didn't I never would've gotten to read this story!
