Oh My God! I am not sure what to say about this book. It was unexpected, but at the same time it should be expected based on the title of the book. It was something I do not think I will read again because the premises feels wrong, I tried it and well that's just about it. I tried it and I don't need to go down that avenue again, but I do know a few people that will be for this book and I will recommend the book to them. Just because it isn't up my alley doesn't mean I do not know people who would love it. It is short enough that if you are curious about dinos and humans getting together then give it a try.,

Woah. Lola Faust really dug into the Dino romance with this one. This is not a Dino shifter, no no! This is a full on Dino/human romance. Tanis is a young woman seeking escape from her family farm and Big Al is the key to her escape. Coincidentally she is also very attracted to him. “They’re on the lam, they’re on the run. Don’t give your name, you don’t have one” -Hadestown
There were a few ewwww moments- like when she gets shot in the arm by her father and he EATS HER ARM and it’s not a deal breaker…His rotten meat breath…working in the slaughterhouse as a cover for keeping him fed and safe and hidden…
Let’s be real, I read this for fun and it was that. It was a lot. I’m Dino romanced out for the moment, I have to say. This is more than enough for a while!

So many elements of this just didn’t make sense to me. The first chapter is absolutely full of action (of all kinds) and it’s just a lot to get your head around. Personally wasn’t a fan

This is definitely a wtf did I just read moment.
I got a copy of this from Netgalley as I thought I’d give some Dino smut a try.
The writing was juvenile, the smut clunky and littered with awful imagery and sensory information. I think I actually dry retched at one scene.
Characterisation was practically non-existent and aside from people either being wholly bad or wholly good, it was like a world a child might imagine. The bad guys were so bad, the good guys always good. With one tiny exception.
The one good thing about this book was the length. At 68 pages it’s easily read. If you can tolerate the content. Not something I’d recommend unless you want to know how not to do smut.
A couple of things I noticed:
18% - … started (stared) into their big trusting eyes…
19% - … crush her, but she (should be he) didn’t.
*I received an electronic copy via Netgalley*

Ok, again (and obviously) the cover dragged me in. To the surprise of no one, this is a very silly book, and I don't love all of the tropes it features, but it definitely has its moments!

I can't resist the ridiculousness of these books! I read one on a lark, but if you can just suspend reality for a few hours, this book is hilarious, entertaining, titillating - I keep coming back to Lola Faust's dino erotica! I gave it 4 stars just for the pure novelty and creativity. Read it!

I need to make this clear - it’s not five stars because it's GOOD. Its five stars because I went into this fairly sure it was going to be ridiculous... and it did NOT disappoint. The joy I received from how ridiculous this was? 10/10, much needed serotonin.

I literally don't even know what to say. What did I just read? Please stop. Even if this wasn't dinosaur smut it was still written badly.

I've been waiting with giving feedback for this book with hopes my thoughts would settle. It did not happen.
In full transparency, I've rated it one star on Goodreads, my second hand embarrassment and the topic of the story were too much for me and I had to pause a few times to calm down 😅 But here I'll rate it more fairly for what it is and what it told us it will be. I mean, if you've read the blurb, you know what you're going into and I wish you luck and strength. 😅 I was pleasantly surprised that this book had pretty nice plot besides being a dino smut. I'm glad I've read it as I've been curious for some time, but I won't dive into the next books by the Author. My respect though for the innovative idea.

This does what it sets out to do well. It's entertaining to read, and while I wouldn't say it's as well-plotted as many traditional novels, it hits all the marks I'd expect from the blurb and the title.
Again, this is an entertaining book. I laughed, and the absurdity of the erotic sections were fun to read. I'm not sure if people are out there actually reading these things for the reason many read erotica, but if you're just looking for something fun, raunchy, and entertaining to kill a couple of hours, you could do a lot worse.

This was such an unserious and funny book. I enjoyed how outrageous and melodramatic it was. I was actually chuckling as I read it. I chose it because I wanted to read nonsense that wouldn't take any mental or emotional depth to get through. It was not a good book by anyone's standard, but it made me laugh and took me out of my reading slump.

This was ridiculous and a fun read! I don't 100% understand why I wanted to read this so bad, but I'm glad I got an advanced copy. I noticed a couple of grammatical mistakes but it is an arc copy, and the dialogue was really good regardless!

well so this is erotica and very little story. I will say I felt confused a bit like I was missing part of the story or universe. I know its a standalone but still felt.. i needed a BIT of story. I really just need to know why dinosaurs had to smell fishy and meaty.. that made me really ummm not into the story.. I am totally okay with humans and fake animals/aliens/unconventional things. I suppose if you ever want to lose your arm, have dino sexy time and have him eat the rest of it off.. then this is your book.

I don't think I was the only one who thought this was at least gonna be fun (or at least funny) besides for the erotica (which is, unfortunately, for me, the main idea). This instead used overly dramatic situations as the gag/parody and was unexpectedly gorey (though it should have been expected because of the said carnivorous dinosaur). Thankfully, it was short, and the last chapter being about mental health was really good, and I wasn't aware of it (though I should have because it's the most logical thing).
Thank you Netgalley for providing me with the digital copy for an honest review.

This was deranged and funny and a fast read. It tells the story of human/dinosaur love and the trials and tribulations that come with being an apex predator and a human facing judgement from the world and physical limitations. The chapters read like individual short stories, with issues to resolve in each. This makes it read a lot quicker too, despite only being a small book.
It is a good introduction to monster smut.
I would not recommend for everyone but to those who already read themes like this or want to dabble.
Thank you to Lola, the publisher and Netgalley for the eARC.

3.5⭐️ but I’ll round it up to a 4. This was so bonkers, I kinda lived for it 🦖🦕 this audio was SO MUCH FUN! I truly will never forget it.

Seriously unhinged and entertaining lol. This is a collection of stories of people enjoying……Dino….stuff….with humans. The end was not my cup of tea though

I expected to be unsure about this because of the fact its dinosaur smut but that was fine, the bad part was the fact the dinosaur ate off her arm and then throughout the book would "lick her nub" ... nope can't be done sorry no

After reading Dino Stud on NetGalley a couple of months ago I jumped at the chance to read Wet Hot Allosaurus Summer when it became available as a read now. I’ve a long admired the cover artist’s commitment to the bit with this surreal clinch cover. And now, after having finished the book, I am happy to report that anybody who sees that cover and thinks, “yes! I want to read about a world in which a dinosaur and a human are locked in a passionate embrace and also get it on outside of a fever dream I had once at burning man” will absolutely not be disappointed in any way.
