This adorable interactive story is great at keeping students engaged. I can see this story leading to an inquiry (how is candy made?), possibly a creative candy making centre in the classroom. It has bright colourful pages, interactive content on the sides of pages and a great story about family. Again I can see my class enjoying this story.

A fun and engaging family adventure book. I love the interactive questions the book provides on each page. I enjoyed the recipes for candy too, such a great way to continue the discussions from the book.

This book has it all! It adds movement to keep kids engaged, has conversations starters for parents to use throughout the pages, focused vocabulary, and even includes activities to do after reading the book.

Move over Willy Wonka, it’s Wally’s time to shine! This family adventure brings wiggles and giggles to a fun and bright story. Wally and the Sweet Mountain Candy Factory is great for all ages and is the perfect story of candy lovers and those who love a hands-on approach to reading.
