This is a great, if short, book that can be used both in school or at home. It tackles internet safety without using complicated language. I think it would make a great starting point for discussion, although I’d look at including other safety issues. You don’t really get to know the characters, but the idea of teaching a tricky subject through a story is a great idea. I’d recommend this book.
I found it a little ironic that they relied on a robot to teach them about online safety and also wasn't sure why a parent wasn't able to provide the knowledge to her child. This to me meant it was a little flawed for the story but the information within the book was helpful and certainly helped with a range of children's ages 6-12.
My daughter, aged 8, and I, loved this story using a robot to talk a young boy through staying safe online.
This book was perfectly pitched to a young audience, illustrations were captivating and the length was just right to keep this audience engaged.
Overall, a great book, effectively sharing a very important message.
