Katie lives with Mike. Mike dies. This isn't a spoiler. It happens in chapter one. Louis, who haunts Katie's bed, merges with Mike's body. They fall in love. There is some work drama with Deb, who thinks she was raped by Mike. I don't like this "he said, she said" business. Katie and Louis go gallivanting up north, where he's from. They encounter the ghost of his ex, who murdered him. Actual Louis, not Mike. Sorry, that gets confusing. Things get boring. Things were already boring. Then Katie and Louis abruptly die in a tornado. No, I didn't make this up. I had to backtrack and re-read that part to make sure I didn't miss anything. I didn't.

When I requested this book I was unaware that it was apart of a series, one that requires you to read the previous books for this one to make sense. I am unable to read all the previous books along with this one before the publish date. Therefore, I will rate this a fair 3/5 stars and will adjust the rating and review when I am able to read all the books in the series along with this one.
A good, well plotted and very romantic story. I didn't read the previous book but I enjoyed this one as the characters and the plot are very interesting.
Compelling.
Recommended.
