I had never read anything by Amanda Prowse, but I really enjoyed this book. I am firmly of the mind that we only know the person who we want the world to see. There is so much more going on under the surface. This book is the perfect example of that idea. You have the perfect family, the Kellleway’s. On the outside they look like THE family to be. Yet every family has its secrets. It is just when or if they will be exposed. This book has so many twist and turns. It will keep you engaged and wanting to dive further into the story from page one. I truly enjoyed getting lost in this book, and I can’t wait to recommend it to patrons soon.
Thank you to Amazon Publishing UK, Lake Union Publishing, and Netgalley for allowing me to read an advance copy of this book.

I adore this author! She writes honestly and her characters are so colorful. This was basically a story of a family and all their ups and downs and especially their secrets. It takes place over one night and the secrets explode. Many lives could change and not always for the better.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Kelleway's are well off and Winnie loves nothing more than showing off to anyone that will listen, so when it's their fortieth wedding anniversary she and husband Bernie pull out all the stops with a family meal at their favourite Italian restaurant. The Harrop's live next door to Winnie and Bernie and Daisy Harrop wishes her parents house was more like theirs and not the shabbiest on the street, things have not been the same since Lisa stopped leaving her room and Daisy would love to have her mum back, but over the course of the next twenty fours hours events will show that, however much you dress it up, nobody has the perfect life.

All Good Things is the latest story brought to us by the Queen of family drama and she wears that crown with pride yet again with this one although, if you've read any of this author's work previously, you will see that this one is a little bit different. The story is told from the perspectives of various members of the Kelleway and Harrop families with many of them having secrets they don't wish to disclose, whilst others are itching to spill but can't find the right moment. There are many bombshells dropped during this tale, highlighting what is important in a family and it's not always about how much money you have because wealth doesn't buy you happiness and that is abundantly clear for some here. The characters, as in all Amanda's books, are solid and authentic, some of them not very likeable, but my favourites were Cleo and Georgie, who were so good together and of course Daisy, so young and sweet, learning along the way that the grass isn't always greener in the neighbours garden and actually everything she really needed in life was right there in front of her, she just had to open her eyes and see it. This is a gripping and emotional account of dysfunctional families which you do not want to miss.

I'd like to thank Amazon Publishing and Netgalley for the approval, I will post my review on Goodreads now and Amazon on publication day.

3 stars! I was thrilled with the opportunity to read an advanced copy of Amanda Prowse’s newest novel, and I enjoyed it.

From Daisy Harrops’ viewpoint, her rich and gorgeous neighbors the Kelleways, are living their best bright and shiny lives. Mr. & Mrs. Kelleway have a beautiful home decked out with the latest gadgets. Their adult son and daughter are just about perfect in every way and grandkids, Domino and Cassian – Cassian, in particular are very pleasing to the eyes.

Daisy has been lusting after Cassian for as long as she can remember. Daisy is an intelligent albeit awkward wallflower and she knows that it would take something earth shattering for him to ever notice someone like her.

Daisy’s family leaves a lot to be desired. Her mother has been depressed and hasn’t really gotten out of bed in about 3 years. Her dad works a lot, drinks often and sleeps more than not. Her brother, Jake, is great but has his own life. He’s either sequestered in his bedroom or out of the house. Their dilapidated home is the neighborhood eye sore and everybody in Four Oaks knows it. It’s hard to be a part of this family when the perfect one is only steps away.

Not everything in either family is as it would seem. The essence of perfection is a façade and all good things could come crashing down. I won’t spoil the fun, but I will say that I was very satisfied with the ending. Though it wasn’t one of my favorite novels, it was still an enjoyable read.

I really liked this book and was very intrigued how it would end. That being said, it ended SO abruptly! The ends were in no way tied up and it leaves a whole lot left unsaid. I did enjoy it and couldn’t wait to pick it back up, but I really needed more form the ending!

Thank you to netgalley for the arc in exchange of an honest review.

I’d like to thank Amazon Publishing UK, Lake Union Publishing and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘All Good Things’ by Amanda Prowse in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Daisy Harrop lives with her mum, dad and brother in a house that looks uncared for when compared to the next-door neighbour’s house. Winnie and Bernie Kelleway are celebrating their ruby wedding anniversary and Winnie has exacting standards that she insists her family keep up but as they move on from the day of their party to the following day it becomes apparent that all is not well and secrets start to be divulged that will soon change the lives of both families.

‘All Good Things’ is an amazing story of families that aren’t always what they appear to be on the surface and show that sooner or later all good things come to an end. Amanda Prowse has yet again given us remarkable characters described so perfectly that it’s made me want to know them better, especially Daisy who dwells on her ugly knees but is a wonderfully warm and considerate young woman, and the considerate and caring Georgie who the Kelleways have always under-estimated. This is an exception novel, heart-warming, emotional and thoroughly enjoyable, that I became totally involved in and loved reading.

There was enough in this book to hold my interest, but the ending was a disappointment. I haven't seen anyone else comment on this though. Was my ARC missing a few pages? Is the story supposed to end so abruptly? It felt unfinished to me. Also, the story was told by too many different characters, so you could never really quite get into it. It was like a series of shorter stories, which were linked. There was a depressing tone to this story too. It was well-written, but I have enjoyed other books by Prowse more. With thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The Kelleways seemed to have it all..Perfect couple, perfect children, and a gorgeous home. Daisy, their next door neighbors daugher, wishes for nothing more than attention from their grandson Cassian. Looks can be deceiving though and we quickly find out that they are each dealing with very complex issues. I absolutely loved this book and it would have been a 5 star read for me until the end. I thought the ending was abrupt and really did not leave me feeling satisfied. I am hoping that their will be a sequel as I was very invested in each characters story.

My thanks to Net Galley and Amazon Publishing for allowing me to review this arc.

Is the grass always greener on the other side? That's what Daisy Harrop thinks of the "perfect" Kelleway family. However all is not what it seems.

I did like this book. Engaging read and well written. I liked it being told from the various POV s of the characters. My only negative comment, I was expecting more from the ending and wanted some of the family members to speak their mind to a particular character that needed to be put in their place.

I found this to be a fairly quick and enjoyable read.

Daisy Harrop and her family live next door to the Kelleways. Daisy's mom is suffering from depression and she looks at the Kelleways as being the perfect and loving family with money to spend and their handsome grandson, Cassian, who Daisy has a crush on. This is a story of what you see is not what you get and over the course of the weekend all of their lives seem to change, some for the better and some not so much. The story was told from the point of view of most of the characters and it was done well enough that I didn't have to keep checking on who was talking. For the record, Winnie was probably the most annoying character ever and I felt the end was a bit abrupt. I wanted just a tad more closure.

Thank you to Netgalley and Amazon UK/ Lake Union for providing me with a digital copy.

I am definitely in the minority with this review and I really had high hopes for this book since it does have A LOT of 5 stars but how can I be the one of the very few who just didn’t “get it?” Maybe it’s not for me, I don’t know. There were so many characters to keep track of but I will give it 3 stars. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this early release in exchange for my honest review.

Wow! All Good Things is a story of two families who live next door to each other, but live in totally different worlds. The Kelleway's are the golden family who have it all and the Harrop's are struggling at all levels. But, everything isn't always what it seems.! Each Chapter is told from the POV of a different character, which is very interesting. There is so much going on, but it all ties together into a big house of cards. Fascinating.

I received an ARC for free, but I leave my honest opinion voluntarily.

All Good Things written by Amanda Prowse is a story of a large family fracturing, struggling to deal the situations they are living through.
Ms Prowse has written with great insight into each character’s development. Life is complicated and life is what we make of it most of the time. Human shortcomings and the egotistical struggle to get farther in society, often leaves a family in turmoil know all good things don’t last forever.
I sincerely hope this book will have a follow up book 2 and become a series. This family deserves a better finish than one book.

Great family drama with real life topics presented in a bingeable way! Relatable, heartwarming, and laugh out loud funny in some parts. Recommend if you love a character driven read!

This is a story of "The grass isn't always greener on the other side."
There is dysfunction, Jealousy, and sadness between a family and the next door neighbor who wishes she could be one of "them".
I truly enjoyed this novel and it was very different from other books written by Amanda Prowse.
It is definitely a good read!

Thank you to #NetGalley and #Amazon Publishing UK, Lake Union Publishing for this ARC and allowing me to read and provide my own review.

Amanda Prowse is the author of 29 novels, and she has COUNTLESS fans, so when I had the opportunity to read her latest book, I figured “why not?”

This book centers on an evening at the Italian restaurant where young Daisy Harrop works.

Her next door neighbors, the Kelleways will be celebrating Matriarch Winnie and Patriarch Bernie’s golden anniversary at the restaurant, with their children and grandchildren in tow. (One just happens to be Cassian Kelleway, who Daisy has a huge crush on)

But, over the course of the evening, the “perfect facade” of her neighbors will crumble, as bombshells are dropped from the POV’s of about 9 different characters-members of both the Harrop and Kelleway families.

LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING

Daisy will learn that nobody is perfect, not even the Kelleways, and not everything is as it appears to be. And, a few people may surprise her.

The book moves quickly, and isn’t hard to follow but the I found the writing to have an “old fashioned “ feel rather than a contemporary one, despite many issues RELEVANT in today’s world.

It just didn’t resonate with me, for this reason.

But, if you are a fan of the author, I am sure it will be another winner for you, based on the other reviews, I have read.

Thank You to Lake Union Publishing for the gifted copy provided through NetGalley. It was my pleasure to offer a candid review!

I love Amanda Prowse's books! This is my sixth book by the author and everyone was a four or five star read. All Good This is no exception, I adored this book and the two families in it. The mix of characters was realistic and relatable...There were some I loved and some I loved to hate. This is a book about the haves and the have-nots and questions the old adage...Is the grass really greener on the other side of the fence?

I love stories about dysfunctional families, especially one that isn't my own! This book is about how all hell breaks loose one evening and what the repercussions are for each member of the two families, following the incidents. I liked how each chapter is from a different character's point of view. Because there are so many people in the two families the story is about this was a great way to get inside each character's head and know their thoughts and feelings about everything that is going on.

There are a lot of heavy topics throughout the chapters. Teenage drinking, divorce, familial expectations, mental health issues, bankruptcy, marital affairs and LGBTIQA to name but a few. Amanda Prowse deals with these issues in a realistic way while remaining sensitive to them. I really appreciate and respect that. I can say enough about this wonderful family tale except to end with...All. The. Stars.

Missing the family life she used to have before her mums depression, Daisy is very envious of her neighbours, the Kelleways. They have the perfect life, lovely garden, well kept house and laughter and closeness, something Dsisy feels is lacking at her address. But over the course of a single day we learn that not everything in the garden is rosy and life maybe isn't as perfect as Daisy imagines.
Has to be said I adore Amanda's books, her characters are realistic and relatable, in this particular novel there are some lovely ones and a couple who grated on me, nothing likeable about them at all, but you'll have to read the book to find out who they are. A quick and easy read that takes nothing away from Amanda's skill as a writer
Many thanks to Netgalley and Amazon Publishing UK for the advanced copy, my review is my own

Another fantastic book by one of my favourite authors, Amanda really knows how to draw me into her stories!
I loved how this was written over a short period of time and that we get to see what is happening through all the characters eyes and experience their emotions first hand.
An interesting topic of the grass is always greener, we all at some point have envied the life of someone else without knowing what is really going on in their lives.
Lots of twists in the plot kept me avidly focused on the story and I found it incredibly difficult to put the book down for any length of time, I just wanted to know what was going to happen next!
This gorgeous book is definitely A Good Thing!
