An Intresting read I enjoyed the facts within the fiction and the storyline of family. I enjoyed this red and would recommend.

Such an engaging read. I always say that I love it when an author uses facts and fiction and I still do very much. The timeframe of this book I lived through, I had just turned 18 in 1969 and although I didn’t get a chance to march in the movement, I believe in it very much. And I believe the author wove a lot of history throughout this story, which was very interesting. Even the women’s little get together every Thursday seems so familiar. This is the first story I have read by this author, but it definitely won’t be the last. I can’t wait to see what else she will bring us.
