Really quite enjoyed this book. The concept is something I’ve never read before so it all felt new to me
This is very obviously going to Kindle Unlimited. Hate turns to love almost instantly which I don't mind cause I don't read kindle unlimited for the plot as much as the romance but please be aware of that.

This book takes readers on a rollercoaster ride through the lives of its well-developed characters, exploring themes of love, loss, and the pursuit of one's true passion. It takes you on a wild ride through the highs and lows of human emotions and relationships. It's a real page-turner that explores love, loss, and the pursuit of our deepest passions.
What really stands out about this book is how it captures the rawness of pain and the intensity of passion. Alexia's writing is so vivid and descriptive that you can't help but feel the characters' emotions deep in your soul.
The characters in Pain Loves Passion are incredibly well-crafted and relatable. They're complex and flawed, each dealing with their own personal struggles and desires. It's easy to get invested in their stories and root for their growth and development throughout the book.
The narrative structure of the book is unconventional, with non-linear storytelling and alternating perspectives. While this adds an interesting layer to the story, it can also be a bit confusing at times, requiring readers to pay close attention to the shifts in time and point of view. Once you get the hang of it, it adds depth and richness to the narrative.
The only small downside to Pain Loves Passion is that it occasionally gets a bit slow. Some scenes and emotions are lingered on for a little too long, which can slow down the overall pace. But if you're patient and willing to immerse yourself in the characters' experiences, it's definitely worth it.
I just can't deal with this absolute mess of a story and the long pages of description drove me crazy!
I also couldn't stand Vincent Luther. He's a jerk that seems to always have the most convenient reasons to dislike Lana. I mean, the younger stepmother trope was enough to work with, but the shocking twist from Vincent's past just made me roll my eyes.
I'm sorry, this story is too ridiculous and every page I read filled me with dread. I liked Lana though and I thought she deserved better.
I have never read a book like this. It is not your traditional romance story, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Extremely well written by the author.
I’m not sure how much of this book I can verbalize without it falling into spoiler territory. There are some very strong viewpoints expressed on behalf of the MMC that I feel could trigger/be offensive to some readers, certain political and religious views that are likely to upset some. There are also many “traditional” triggers in the story as well, not sure that the author has listed them somewhere for those that would like a heads up. Including one that is generally a no go for a lot of reader’s, period.
Overall, great book with a unique twist. You can tell that mental health awareness is important to the author.
this book was written really well, i read it in a day and was left wishing i could read it for the first time again! 5 stars must have on your tbr. relatable and beautiful. wish i could read it again for the 1st time. read it in a day
I completed this novel in just one day which is testimony to how intrigued i was with the content within and the subject matter. I simply could not put it down. Actually, the storyline was relatable in a sense due to someone i know having experienced something similar in regards to two married individuals committing adultery. I certainly would suggest reading it for yourself. I believe it is important that you make your own judgement, For me, this novel ticked all the boxes. Congratulations to the author and to the publisher for an amazing novel sure to captivate the minds of the individuals who find themselves reading it.
Tough to rate. This employs every trigger you could think of and reads like a YA novel with all of the drama-filled actions. 3.5 STARS

I have to give it to the author; on one hand, she writes beautifully. You can feel every bit of pain and drama-laden description that she packs into the story!
On the other hand, there is a profuse amount of said drama, anger, hate, and vitriol, along with every bad thing that can happen in life that you can add to a story. This is definitely written with the title in mind - Pain loves passion.
Hate turns to love in a flash. Steamy scenes seem twisted because of the story. Multiple wrongs don't always make a right. You are not sure who to dislike in this story because they all have terrible things going on. Vincent is a winner in my book because he is a class 1 jerk that I could not forgive!
Overall, the plot is solid and the story is well written with a presumed HEA. I simply could not get over how many things a person can endure in one story/life.
