The Marsh Keeper is incredibly detailed. So much so, that it doesn't leave any room for the reader to imagine anything. Everything is described.
Other than that, relatively easy to read. Unique tale

Unfortunately this was a DNF for me. It was probably me as I think I went into it expecting something else. I could never get into the flow of the book and didn’t connect with any of the characters. Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read it.

A thrilling and thought-provoking novel that will leave you questioning the nature of truth and secrecy. The protagonist, Cal, is a relatable and sympathetic character, and his ability to see human energy adds a fascinating twist to the plot. The author's writing style is engaging and immersive, and the story is full of emotional depth and complexity.

Some secrets are meant to be kept hidden...but at what cost?

Sixteen-year-old Calvin Hughes has a unique ability to see human energy, which reveals the best and worst of those around him. However, when a young girl disappears beneath the marsh, Cal's knowledge of the truth behind her tragedy becomes too much to keep hidden.
