I tried really hard to get into this book. It was a cool concept and I liked the idea of it. I loved how each chapter was a scene like in cinematography, I also adored the chapter art I thought it was gorgeous and a great way to get me interested in the chapter. I just don’t think it was my thing I definitely recommend it to those who like a more futuristic sci-fi, with war, and politics.

Guys I tried. I really did. But I was 5 chapters in and had no idea what was going on.😔

I couldn't finish it. There wasn't anything wrong with this story specifically, it was simply a little too political for my taste in books. I was also a little disappointed because I expected it to be a graphic novel based on the cover illustration, which could have affected my mood towards reading it in general. I tried multiple times, but couldn't get into it. I rated fairly at 4 stars because I know many sci-fi fans could enjoy this.

I really wanted to like this book, the graphics were really cool and the way it was designed seemed awesome.

But unfortunately I found myself being so utterly lost and confused? It just seemed like too much was happening all at once. I couldn’t connect with any of the characters and it was just not doing it for me.
