The best part of this book is the illustrations. You can tell they illustrations, but they are so close to true pictures. It’s about looking at the bigger picture and not just the small things. The message is nice but the road to get there is long and drawn out. This book feels very self-published and not in a good way. It might be possible to find this in a library, but it won’t be in a collection more than a handful of years.

Zambe the Giraffe is an absolutely beautiful illustrated picture book for children. The story is about a baby giraffe called Zambe who is excited and in awe of all the little things around them. When Zambe shares this with his mum, he is confused as she doesn't seem excited about them like he is. I thought from the start of the book it was going to be about him teaching his mum to enjoy the little things more but its actually more about seeing the bigger picture. I loved this book but found the message to be a tad confusing as you can see the bigger picture in life to grow and progress in life, but the little things often have much more meaning and enjoyment overall. I would have preferred if the book had included this as it is possible to achieve both.

This is a story about a baby giraffe who was keen to explore the world new to her. She toddled places and on returning told her mother about each activity she did and what she observed on the way, which obviously was not new to mother giraffe. She was there to experience an important thing, which by all means, good for all to know;

"If you look at the big picture in life, you get to plan a future to live it."

Unusual approach for a young read, using a baby giraffe as a lesson-giver in looking at the bigger picture. I don't think a younger me would really have understood the purpose of the moral, the way it is delivered here, but I wouldn't have found the book terrible. For one thing, the art really stands out – almost hitting the uncanny valley with the various critters on show. It's the first time I've knowingly seen a young reader use an AI for the visuals, and it looks like that could well be the way forward for small publications like this. But I'm still not enamoured with the story, so three stars is my best.

The illustrations are darling. The text is brief. It will keep the interest of little ones and not over-tax young attention spans. The writing style is upbeat and positive.

I really loved the illustrations in this book. The story delivered a great message. It does need to be proofread because there are typos.

This is a charming children's book about a baby giraffe. The illustrations are wonderful and the message - to look at the big picture - is a good one to teach children.

I loved the pictures they are quite beautiful even the pictures of the beetle are beautiful and artfully done. I was happy with the book at first of noticing the little things around you but also looking at the bigger picture, however the book makes it out that it is one or the other either you look at the little things and don't really see what is going on around you or you look at the bigger picture and can plan for the future because you can see how things are. I wish that the book would have illustrated that both can be done and both are important to having a balanced life because without looking at the small things and appreciating the simple things in our lives the big things really don't matter as much most big things in life are made of many small things so always looking at the bigger picture causes us to overlook and miss things.

This was a beautifully illustrated book about looking at the bigger picture in life and how beneficial it is. I loved every second of this book and so did my 5 year old daughter.

The illustrations?!?!? WOW! They are AMAZING!!! The story was beautiful and has a great lesson behind it! I will be buying this book for all the little kids in my life!

The book was cute and had wonderful illustrations 5/5. The writing was just okay 3/5. I also think the page shouldn't be all white with just the text on it. The book would be better if the beautiful illustrations took up the whole entire pages, with just the background behind the text. It was a nice story about looking at the bigger picture to understand everything and a good lesson for kids. My kids all enjoyed the book ages 6,4,2.
