This short book introduces kids to the SVO structure of the English language by having them define and identify subjects, verbs, and objects. It is an activity book where they fill out the pages as they go. It is a good introduction to the basics of grammar. I was surprised they did not discuss the difference between direct and indirect objects, though.

What a wonderful book to practice writing and learning grammar in a fun and engaging way. This book is perfect for kids from kindergarten through third grade. The illustrations could have been a little better, but all in all this book does a great job of having kids engage with it and try to learn at the same time. My 6 year old had a fun time with it, but my 4 and 2 year old were too young for it.
