This is the second book I have read in the Sanderling Cove Inn series. And, unfortunately, it will probably be the last one. A lot of characters to keep up with and there is romance ... which is a genre I don’t particularly care for. The positive is that it is a clean romance so no raunchy behavior or foul language. Though a lot of characters, the positive is that they include mostly strong women and men who are supportive of them. I know there are a lot of positive reviews for this book and if clean romance is more your cup of tea, then I suggest you give this one a try.

This is a good book. The book is about a family, Ellie is the grandmother, Brooke, Charlotte, and Livy are the granddaughters. They are running their grandmother’s inn while their grandmother is gone on her honeymoon with her new husband. While the grandmother is away, all three of the granddaughters get engaged. This story is about love.
In the 3rd installment of this series, the story revolves around Livy, who joins her two cousins, Charlotte and Brooke, in Sanderling Cove for the summer to assist their grandmother. Unknown to the trio, the local grandmothers are secretly playing matchmakers. While Charlotte and Brooke have already found their partners, Livy remains single, struggling with a traumatic past event that prevents her from trusting men. Having sold her bakery in Virginia, she hopes to find solace in the Cove. Livy rekindles a friendship with Austin, her teenage crush, who recently sold his IT business and now resides in the Cove. As they both confront their past traumas, a romantic spark ignites between them. The series is a captivating blend of family bonds, love, drama, joy, and sorrow.
This was such an entertaining read and 3rd in the series. This is Livy’s story of hope and new beginnings.
Many thanks to BookBuzz.net and to Netgalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
This is book three in The Sanderling Cove Inn and it is Olivia and Austin’s story. Livy is spending time with her cousins at Sanderling Cove to help at her grandmothers Inn so that she could take a break which is just what Livy needs as she had sold her bakery after going through a traumatic experience and this will get her away so that she can revalue her life and decide what she wants to do next. Austin has just sold his very successful IT business and now he is spending time in Sanderling Cove with his grandmother while trying to decide what he wants to do next. Livy and Austin have known each other for years and had a strong friendship and both being in Sanderling Cove they start to spend time together so when Livy feels that things are getting bad and overwhelming because of the secret that she is keeping that know one knows about she realized that she can trust Austin and tell him what she had gone through. The more time that Livy and Austin spend together the stronger there feelings for each other grows but will this be the chance to put there past behind them and look forward to a relationship and future together. It is a clean romance, it had little to no foul language, and it has a really good ending! There a lot of characters, mostly strong woman with men who support them.
Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley.
This is a three part series that I've thoroughly enjoyed!
Even though I live in Florida I still felt that I got to visit another place that had a wonderful romantic atmosphere. I loved that it was home away from home so to speak.
I enjoyed in getting to know Liv and her friends! To me, they felt like family and when the story ended I hated saying goodbye. I didn't want it to end! I absolutely loved this sweet novel and I can't wait to see what she writes next! I'm a forever fangirl!
You will grin, laugh and have fun with this book unless I miss my guess!
The cover of this book drew me in instantly! Gorgeous!
I highly recommend this book. 5 stars for a job well done! And for keeping my interest!
In my opinion, the five Grandmother's are what made this book such a fun read!
My thanks for a copy of this book I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Salty Kisses by Judith Keith. This was a totally fun read that made me want to hop on the first plane landing anywhere near Sanderling Cove in Florida.
While this is the third book in the Sanderling Cove series, this is the first one I read in it, and I don’t think it is essential to have read the others first (although I definitely plan on reading them now).
Olivia Winters (Livy) is a talented cook who agrees to spend the summer running her grandparents’ inn with her cousins Brooke and Charlie. The cousins have a close bond and are a great team that improves the inn.
Austin, who Livy had a crush on growing up, is also in town for the summer….
The plot was fun, and I loved the characters.
Thank you to the author, BookBuzz, and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my opinions.
This was a solid 3 - maybe a 3.5 if I had I read the whole series. I came late to the series. It can definitely be read alone, but I do think I missed a lot of details starting on book three. I think I would have been more attached to the characters had it read it from the beginning.
It is a clean romance ( which I really enjoy ), it had little to no foul language ( which I like ), and it has a really good ending! There a lot of characters, mostly strong woman with men who support them.
I am going to look to see what other books Judith Keim wrote. I think I would enjoy her other stories.
When Liv heads to Florida to help her cousins run their grandparent's inn while they are away, Liv discovers that there is much more to life than running a bakery. Liv loves to bake and, at the insistence of her cousins, uses that skill at the inn. But the meddling grandparents had more in mind for these ladies, they want them to find love. When a former summer crush comes back into her life, even though she needs help, she knows where to go for someone to listen and help. Grandmas know best when it comes to their grandkids as you find out in the story. Another great read and perfect for the summer! Thank you to Ms. Keim, Wild Quail Publishing, and NetGall, for the opportunity to read and review this book.
What a beautiful end to this story. Loved Livy's story the most because it was very raw and real. I also enjoyed the twists, even though each story had them, this one was different. I loved how all loose ends were tied up and I look forward to hearing more for Elli and the other grans future shannagins! Really loved these characters and enjoyed the feel good read. Who doesn't love a romantic beach read.
Salty Kisses is the third book in Judith Keim’s Sanderling Cove Series and focuses on the third cousin, Livy. Livy is an accomplished chef and takes on the role of doing the cooking and baking for the Inn. She is uncertain of her future, is tired of her mother’s constant comparison between Livy and the neighbor’s same age daughter, and is recovering from several traumatic occurrences, some known by no one but herself.
Austin Ensley, another grown cove kid, is very grateful to Livy for having helped him through the difficulties surrounding his mother’s death, but is known to date the glamorous, not the simply pretty. However, knowing this has never lessened the crush Livy has had for what seems forever. But as she stands by his side during another stressful time, things shift.
In this third novel in the series, grandparents Ellie and John Rizzo return from their trip, bringing troubling times and new beginnings. This series is very enjoyable and I do recommend it to those interested in a family beach story. In my opinion, it does need to be read in sequence for the story to correctly unfold.
this is the third book in the series, but can be read as a standalone, three cousins spend the summer together,
Salty Kisses by Judith Keim is full of romance that's secondary to how three smart women come together to use their talents to revive the family business.
This is a story about three female cousins who take over the running of their grandmother’s beachside inn while she is away for a few months.
For me, sadly, this was completely unrealistic and the writing lacked maturity and depth. Almost immediately, the women are taking bookings for weddings, that are, of course, a huge success and if there are any potential problems, a local “cove” person (or several) steps in and saves the day - free of charge.
All three of the women get engaged themselves, as well as one of their mothers and the grandmother herself gets married.
The characters seem to be constantly emotional, with phrases including:
Tears stung her eyes
Unexpected tears
Tears escaped
Eyes shiny with tears
Her eyes teary
Her eyes glistening
Felt her eyes fill
Dabbed at her eyes
Ok for a quick holiday read, but even then, the content was shallow and bland.
2 ⭐️ Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for an ARC in return for an honest review.
Salty Kisses is the 3rd book in the Sanderling Cove Inn Series, I love all this author's books and this one is no exception. The 3rd book of the series center's around Livy and her story, both of her cousins have found love now we wonder if the same will happen for her. Livy and her cousins have worked hard to make changes at the family Inn, so that once their grandmother and husband return from honeymoon they can have a easier time running it. I would certainly recommend this book to others.
I received and ARC from NetGalley and the publisher, and I am leaving my review voluntarily.
This RH The third and final book in the SandraLynnCove Inn Series they can all be read a standalone‘s but it’s so much more fun to read as a collection. It’s it’s a Livia’s turn to fall in love and of course it’s with Austin she couldn’t be happier she’s starting to get more recognition for her cooking skills Gran and John are coming home her cousins are in love her mom is in a good place life couldn’t be better but when a girl name Ainsley says she’s expecting Austin‘s baby Livy is beside herself with heartbreak. Despite Austin saying there’s no way he could be the father of her baby it’s still takes a toll on his demeanor and although Olivia believes him that doesn’t stop the rumors from flying. Can Olivia and Austin get through this and will the DNA test come back proving Austin is being truthful. I am so sad to see the end of this Siri‘s these are the type of books you don’t read for the ending but for the journey and what a great journey it has been. I love Judith Collins books and always get excited when there’s a new one and it’s so bittersweet that we’re at the end of this great collection. I started out not liking Olivia story so much but in the end I was definitely rooting for her and Austin a definite five star read. I received this book from NetGalley and Book Buzz but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.
This book tied the series up nicely. Livy and Austin got their romance. There are some angsty moments. I love how this book and series focuses on the love of family and friends. Of looking out for one another. I loved the writing of the book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is the third book in the series. The three cousins, Charlie, Brooke, and Livy are running Sanderling Cove Inn so their grandmother, Ellie, and her husband, John, can go on an extended trip. Little did the cousins know what the grandmothers in Sanderling Cove had up the sleeves. This was a very enjoyable read.
I received a free ARC, and this is my honest opinion.
Can you go home again? And when you do will you find what you were expecting or something or someone else? Three cousins come together at their grandparents inn for the summer to help out and spend time together. This book focuses on Livy, who is single and pretty much resigned that as her permanent status. The grandmothers decide that isn’t acceptable and to stick their noses into her and everyones business. Family, secrets, love, old crushes, traumas never truly dealt with, friendships and at the core of the story, heart. A wonderful addition to this series.
The five grandmothers at Sanderling Cove have their grandchildren helping run the inn hoping they will find love. Charlotte and Brooke have found their true loves and only Livy is left. It is expected that her grandmother will sell the inn when she returns from her cruise and Livy is not sure she wants to continue baking and cooking for guests. Livy faced a traumatic event while living in Virginia and is anxious to get through the memories. Austin is visiting his grandmother and Livy had a crush on him in high school. He is the only one Livy feels comfortable enough to share her story. The setting of this book is done so well. You can feel the sand in your toes as you walk along the beach, search for shells, and host weddings. The guests at the weddings offer a lot of interesting sidelines. The love between Livy and Austin is done very well. Great characters, those that are integral to the story and those who we see only briefly.
