I liked having all the review in one spot, tho what surprised me the most it is a simple pdf/doc file with rundown of basic vocabulary. It's like having lesson notes that are useful when reviewing the topic, yet I found that it might be not enough in everyday usage of the language. If someone uses the language app this is perfect compliment to it.

This is a great concept for a book, but the author obviously did not check their facts. For example with the numbers it says that 35 is cincuenta, when in fact 35 is treinta y Cinco. This is true for 35-39. When you get to 40 it says 40 is cien. Cien is 100. I'm just very disappointed in this book.

This was a perfect introduction to the spanish language, laid out in a clear way with key sections. Useful for common phrases and will definitely help you on your journey into learning spanish. The claim to be speaking spanish fluently in 30 days seems overly exaggerated based on reading this book alone!

I enjoyed the insights and vocabulary around spanish celebrations and the quizzes at the end were helpful

The book is well-organized and easy to follow, with clear explanations and practical examples that help reinforce the material. The author's teaching style is engaging and effective, making it easy to stay motivated and on track.

Overall, "Learn Spanish in 30 Days" is a great choice for anyone looking to learn Spanish quickly and effectively. While it may not be the most comprehensive or in-depth resource out there, it is certainly a valuable tool for beginners and intermediate learners alike. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to get started with Spanish or brush up on their existing skills.

I’m enjoying learning Spanish with this book but I am also using videos along side it so I can hear the words as well. A good read for beginners.

LEARN SPANISH IN 30 DAYS
by Alita Manuel

Since I don't know Spanish, but would like to learn for any traveling that we may do in the future, I thought I'd give this book a whirl.

I like how the author put in the Spanish Alphabet, with the pronunciation of all of the letters, in other methods, they don't always include that important part of learning.

I do know the numbers, 1-10, so I had a headstart there. I think the book would be excellent if it had an audio cd-rom that you could listen to as you were learning, to be sure that you were pronouncing words the correct way.

I don't feel like I could use this book to get me through my travels in a Spanish-speaking country, but it is a good start.

I dont think this resource will have the reader "speaking like a native" but it is a useful resource for learning the language and developing some fluency. The exercises and format at fun and easy to follow. Would recommend it for a beginner to learn commonly used phrases and words; helps build a base for more advanced learning

This book would be helpful for anyone traveling to Spain, or learning some vocabulary words. It would be nice if the book specified the type of Spanish within the covers. I assumed this was about Mexican/Latin American Spanish (which can be very different). Obviously you can't learn Spanish in 30 days, and if you miraculously could, this book dose not cover it. If you are interested in brushing up on some of your Spain Spanish, then this is the book for you.

I have been learning Spanish through an app and this is a great compliment to it. It has interesting facts, useful information and fun learning games. This will be a reliable reference for anyone learning Spanish. Thank you to NetGalley, Alita Manuel and the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for my review.

This is a nice introduction to Spanish as spoken outside Latin America. what Spanish I studied years ago was Latin American Spanish, so I was interested in learning more now that I live in Europe. The book is organized well and covers a lot of different scenarios, from the practical, like what someone would need to know to communicate in a hotel or job interview setting, to the vocabulary of various cultural events. There are exercises at the back to give the learner practice. However, it seemed that there were some mistakes, particularly in early chapters. A couple were rather minor, but in the section on numbers, when the author gets to 34 in the list, she has the word for 40, 35 as 50, 36 as 60, 37 as 70, 38 as 80, 39 as 90, and 40 as 100. These mistakes early on made me wonder if there were any others as the book went on. If the mistakes can be corrected, then it's a nicely done book that provides an introduction to the language.

I think this book is a great resource for those that are already somewhat familiar with the Spanish language. I definitely wouldn’t say that someone who knows nothing, would be fluent by the time they finish. Overall though I think it is helpful and give many sentences examples for various situations so one could easily take those examples and break them down to create answers and new questions.

I was given a free electronic copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed reading Learn Spanish in 30 Days. It is more practical in the material it covers than other books for learning Spanish, and I really liked the vocabulary lists it provides. My only criticism would be that it does not include as much information about conjuring verbs as might be necessary for speaking and reading the language. A beginning learner might end up confused in this area without any explanations.

I am not entirely sure how true is the promise of speaking Spanish in 30 days with the help of this book, but it sure has a lot of useful info in there!
There are 30 lessons and each of those makes perfect sense, covers a topic, and gives more insight into the language. Overall, this looks like a useful book for those who want to work on improving their Spanish. Definitely would recommend it.

I always wanted to learn Spanish and this book, for sure, help me to achieve my goal. However, it's impossible to speak Spanish in 30 days.

This has actually been good for me trying to learn the language I should have grown up with.
While it won't get anyone specking Spanish fluently, it would help you being able to hold a quick conversation in the language

Fairly Basic but still a helpful Review. I have been studying Spanish for many years and have studies different dialects etc so every method is a bit different.

Well, I'm not sure if after going through the lessons one can speak Spanish fluently in 30 days. But, I suppose you can if you have a photographic memory.

I've been attempting to learn Spanish for quite awhile. So I thought I would give this book a try. The book doesn't contain anything new that I haven't already learned. However, I liked that the author begins with the basics of ABCs and numbers. Those basics provided reinforcement for what I already knew. A good confidence booster.

The lessons are covered over a period of 30 days with different topics per day. Some lessons were longer than others. And I found some lessons to be more tedious than others. A slight damper for me was that I'm learning Latin American Spanish and it appears that this book is for Castillian Spanish. Slight differences, but I did get a little confused.

At the end of the book, there are fun exercises to reinforce what was learned, and there are also practice dialogues for real life situations.

Overall, Learn Spanish in 30 Days was informative and would make a good reference book. But for fluency, I'll stick with my Rosetta Stone, Duolingo, and watching and listening to Spanish TV channels. Three stars.

I received a digital book from BooksGoSocial through NetGalley. The review herein is completely my own and contains my honest thoughts and opinions.

I've been wanting to learn Spanish for a while now, so I was excited to read Learn Spanish in 30 Days. The book is divided into 30 lessons, each of which is designed to be completed in one day.

The lessons are pretty comprehensive, and they cover everything from basic grammar and vocabulary to advanced conversation skills. I found the lessons to be pretty easy to follow, and I was able to learn a lot of new Spanish words and phrases.

One thing that I didn't like about the book is that the format is a little bit hard to learn from. The lessons are all very short, and they're not always well-organized. This can make it difficult to follow the lessons and to remember what you have learned.

Overall, I think Learn Spanish in 30 Days is a good book, but it could be improved with a better format. If you're looking for a comprehensive guide to learning Spanish, then I would recommend this book. Just be prepared to put in a little bit of extra work to learn from it.

I don’t know that I will be able to actually speak Spanish in thirty days but, with the help of this book, I will certainly get started. In these pages, one begins with Alphabets and Pronunciations, then moves on to Numbers, Informal and Formal Greetings, Slang, Articles and Adjectives, Commonly Used Verbs, Hotel Vocabulary, Personal Data and so much more.

This is a fun and good introduction to the Spanish language. I look forward to improving my skills.

Many thanks to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for this title. All opinions are my own.
