It tooked me some time to review this book as I wanted to read the first in this series but I can say that this is a lovely series that mixes fantasy and biography and you can enjoy it regardless of the order or what you read before.
Moorcock is one of the most influential fantasy writers , one that inspired tons of writers.
That said I loved it even if it's a bit weird at times. Intriguing and fascinating.
Highly recommended.
