Thank you to NetGalley, and the author Kate Callaghan for this eARC

As it turns out, Ms Perfectly Fine is a very accurate title for this book.

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book - the enemies-to-lovers portion, the forced proximity and the banter between Autumn & Elijah was great.
Sadly the book soon lost it’s momentum for me. I didn‘t care for Autumns stubbornness, that they switched from enemies to lovers so quickly and the mystery subplot, which became the main plot for the last ~20%.

It was a perfectly fine read but I probably won‘t be thinking about it again in the future.

P.S. I know this is really nit picky, but in the beginning there were two things that really bothered me and I just have to get them off my chest
- Food being labeled vegan yet having honey in/on it
- A Golden Retriever being described as a „gentle giant“. A Golden is a medium sized dog! Not even close to giant!
Also, I don‘t know if this was fixed in the final version but there is a continuity error in one scene where we’re told Autumn is wearing a dress and then moments later she‘s in a t-shirt.

This book ended up being just okay for me. I think the premise is really good and it had a ton of potential but the execution wasn’t great in my opinion. I found myself getting bored and spacing off through out the story. And I also found part of this far fetched. I guessed the twist at the end and just thought that whole ending was cringey and far fetched. This book wasn’t bad and I see a lot of potential for this author and would definitely still read other books by her.

4.5 ⭐

𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: reverse grumpy x sunshine, he falls first, hates everyone but her, forced proximity, enemies to lovers

𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀: trauma, stalking, chronic pain

I really liked this book. It's super cute, with a little unexpected plot twist.

Autumn is a well-known pianist, who is intensely preparing for a comeback after a traumatic incident that affected her both mentally and physically. She is also very stubborn and likes to do things herself, but now it's time for her to heal.

Elijah is very charming and loving. He is trying to build a tech company, without his father knowing. He is attracted to Autumn's mysteriousness, and does not hesitate to show her that he is there for her.

Their relationship is super cute, natural and funny. They both catch feelings for each other sooner or later, but although Elijah is the first to reveal them, he waits for Autumn until she is ready to take the next step.

Thank you Kate Callaghan, Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this amazing book in exchange for an honest review.

I could not connect to the male main character and it affected my ability to root for the romance aspect of this read. Unfortunately, I did not finish the story but hope it will connect to other readers.

I couldn’t finish this one. I struggled through the male character’s Insta-love-yet-continued-to-disrespect-every-boundary thing. He needed a better motive to be a jerk to someone he just met at the level he was. I struggled for a while then looked at where I was in the book..33%. I have been trying to read this for days now. I apologize this review sounds so harsh, but I guess this book just is not my style of romcom. I will have to try out another from this author with a different character trope format.

Elijah has my heart in the palm of his hand. The way he always was there to support Autumn had me swooning each time. Autumn’s story truly made me cry and i can’t imagine what it’s like to live with survivors guilt. Now let me say that the plot twist got me so good at the end. How could someone be so deceiving for so many years. I truly felt bad for Autumn after that discovery. But I’m glad she had Elijah with her always through it all. I do feel like Elijah’s story might not seem thorough enough for some but I’m fast paced and was able to connect it all together.

Got really suprised and unnexpectly in love with the characters of this novel! Loved the aspect of suspense with romance, as well as how soft Elijah is while at the same time being sexy. It had unexpected turns and emotional, really appreciate the mystery build up.

My Rating: 3.5/4

It's been a few days since I finished this book and I keep thinking about it. It's grown on me. I love the idea of a thriller romance and think it was done fairly well. I wish the thriller aspect had been hinted at more throughout the book rather than tacked on at the end. The romance also felt a little rushed. I wished there had been a bit more build up.

The main characters were well written. Autumn was likable and relatable, although I felt I had no real gauge to how famous she actually was. Elijah was loving and supportive. Their initial meeting was chaotic and entertaining. Their relationship developed nicely; they have good chemistry.

Overall, it was a fun time and had a lot of unique aspects, making it more than a standard romance.

Thank you to Kate Callaghan, the publisher and NetGalley for giving me an eARC of this book in exchange of an honest review.

I have to say straight away that I really enjoyed this one. Autumn lives in a rental that ended up being sub-letted to Elijah. Together they each devise ways to help the other realize they don't want to stay in the house and the results are nothing short of comical. Autumn's fiery spirit and Elijah's calm and conniving demeanor makes for an enjoyable read, you will laugh , you will rage and then fall in love with both characters The grand finale was totally satisfying and well executed. This was so good that I completed it in one sitting. Highly recommend this book.

Very cute and super super sweet! Probably not a hugely memorable or life changing book, but it was definitely a pleasant experience and I would recommend it to lovers of cute romance.

This was cute but the characters were a bit bland for me. Not enough growth. I'm not a huge fan of the Insta-love trope so I struggled with this book. So sadly this was a miss for me. It was an okay read

I enjoyed this. Reading a romance about an mc with chronic pain. I loved the way the author didn’t write her as a damsel in distress but as someone who had been and is still living with so much pain, still going on and learning to rely on herself, even to a fault where it made it difficult for her to accept help from anyone else. Whilst I couldn’t relate directly to the character’s story, I could relate to a lot of the effects of chronic pain and learning to rely on yourself and the challenges that come with both. Although i figured it out quite early on I did enjoy the twist. I think it was well done, the romance side was nothing special, just a typical enjoyable romance.

First I want to thank the author and Net Galley for an Advanced Reader Copy.
This books open with a tragic accident that occurs to our female main character, Autumn when she was a child. It then opens up to present dav where Autumn is renting a house from her
"uncle" Tim. (Tim is a friend of her father's). She awakens to movers in her house moving her possessions around. She runs into Elijah. Elijah is moving into the house. Tim had told Elijah that it was okay to live there.
Autumn has to leave for orchestra practice leaving Elijah to sort out things. Elijah moved there to launch his gaming company.
The first day he changes the locks and when Autumn comes home it's comical.
Both characters are dealing with wounds from their past. There is a mystery/thriller vibe with someone leaving roses and notes for Autumn.
This book features the trope where he falls first.
This book moved me as a person who has had over 7 back surgeries can relate to Autumn and pain management.

Pianist Autumn Adler is finally making her solo comeback after a dreadful tragedy and a painful recovery. But someone doesn’t want her to take the stage and is trying their best to discourage her.

Coming to terms with the danger she faces, Autumn has to find a way to bravely pull down the walls she built around herself and stop being “perfectly fine” all the time. While the suspense in this one was an undercurrent, it still had enough weight to ensure a good and satisfying end to all the curiosity.

Ms Perfectly Fine is the story of taking back what’s yours while finding strength in love and everlasting friendship. A love that walks into your life and home one day, never to leave again and a friend that suddenly left one day and completely changed everything. While Elijah Wells was indeed the strongest sunshine to Autumn’s closed off, grumpy demeanour, Mollie was the friend that never had to see Autumn slowly close herself away from the world.

Thank you for my advance copy @netgalley

I really duping enjoy this book. But I’m not sure I’d classify it under romantic suspense. There was a little suspense and a little Mystery but mostly it was a romance. That being said I loved the romance between Autumn and Elijah. After the first chapter I hated Elijah after reading the second chapter I truly loved his character and was rooting for him. I also loved autumn determination to not let her Chronic Pain get her down. I don’t think I’ve read a story that had a character with chronic pain so it was nice to see it written in a story. I loved Elijah though his determination to when Autumn in the end was very endearing to me. The novel mentions past trauma, chronic pain ,and stalking. It ,may be a trigger for some but I don’t feel it was overly done. I would have like to had a bit more of the suspense/mystery in the story. I’m also tend to read closed-door romances so while I enjoyed the story I wish I had a heads up that the romance had steamy open-door scenes. All in all the story was well written and ends with a happily ever after.

Fun, fresh and cute and everything you’d want from a romance. Gave me the much needed serotonin I was after

Meh. He was mean and rude and then suddenly not? I’m a big believer that a persons character is pretty consistent… so I struggled to get behind this one from the beginning.

Thank you NetGalley for granting me access to this book in exchange of a honest review.

I am giving this book 3 starts.

This was okay. Unfortunately, even though I tried very hard, this wasn’t the book for me. I went in with huge expectations as this book has an intriguing blurb and a beautiful cover. However, I did find myself disappointed throughout the book.
This book had some of my favourite tropes: forced proximity, grumpyxsunshine etc.
I think what went wrong for me is that I felt that the characters were bland. In the beginning they were fine but then there was no more development. Personally, I do like when characters have a bit more depth. As well, I am not a big fan of the whole insta love trope and that was one of the main reasons why I struggled reading this book.
Finally, I think the whole mystery subplot was very unnecessary and just added unnecessary drama and I believe it would have been better just as a romance.

Unfortunately, this book was a bit of a miss for me and I wish I had liked it more.

Again, thank you NetGalley for the ARC in the exchange of a honest review.

This book was a wonderful mix of romance and suspense/mystery. Enemies to lovers, then a thrilling, suspenseful who dun it.
