This book was perfectly fine. I'll admit, it was a struggle to get through the middle of this book. It started off as a promising enemies to lovers story, and I do love a hurt/comfort trope - but it just lacked any sort of zest. I love a romantic suspense novel, but this storyline also just didn't really work for me.

I really did love this book, the storyline it's my kind of read but I really didn't enjoy the 3rd person/observation commenting. I feel that If that was removed it would be so much better! But it is a great book and a great light read.

This was such a cute read, and it included some mystery and suspense, which I love. I thought the chronic pain aspect was realistic and well done. As it turns out, Ms Perfectly Fine was not fine at all. She is the type to suffer in silence and not ask for help. But as Autumn and Elijah get to know each other, he becomes a great support person for her. These two are so adorable together and I loved their banter. I would recommend this book for those who enjoy both romance and mystery/suspense.

Such a cute read! 💕 Loved that there was an air of mystery throughout the book, while still being light and easy to read! Would definitely recommend this book! And also, how pretty is the cover! 😍

Ms Perfectly Fine started out with plenty of promise as a enemies-to-lovers story, but I quickly found myself let down and annoyed by it. The romance moved too quickly for my taste without proper development, but the bigger issue was this fairly absurd thriller (?) subplot of someone who appears to be stalking the heroine. It felt like this book didn't know what it was supposed to be, which made it fairly tiresome.

I loved this romance so much. Autumn has been through a traumatic experience and is recovering and rebuilding her life. She doesn't like change and unfamiliar people. In her space - she doesn't want anyone to look at her differently.

Elijah is now renting the other room in the home with Autumn. Unfortunately, their first encounter wasn't what he was expecting.

Elijah and Autumn's journey to self-discovery and healing is beautiful. Still, while that is happening, we have a bit of a thriller because Autumn has a stalker, and the lane to discovery is interesting as hell.

This book was mediocre at best. It had a lot of potential - forced proximity, grumpy x sunshine, and he fell first. It had potential to be cute and charming, but there was so much going on that the characters and story had no depth. The romance just didn’t feel right to me and the thriller aspect was just a small plot point until the end and then it wrapped up so quickly that there wasn’t a lot of work with. The story was fine overall, but I just needed and wanted more from the book.

I'd give this one a solid 3.5 stars!

Things I loved:
Autumn was headstrong and determined and never allowed others belittle her. Her chronic pain rep was very relatable and made her a likable MC, despite something of her crazier antics against Elijah.

Autumn and Elijah had some great banter moments!

Autumn's love of music! I could relate so strong to Autumn wanting to push through the pain and struggling to pace herself when it came to pursuing her dream. I think it is important to highlight that you should always want the best for yourself and your dream, but not at the expense of your own body and health.

The stalker mystery! While I guessed the culprit relatively early, it was still fun and added a little something extra to this romance story.

Things I didn't love:
The writing was okay but I feel like it was missing a bit more heart. It wasn't overly descriptive or boring, but just rather straightforward. There were some great moments between Autumn and Elijah but they sometimes were missing that extra oomph that would've had me giggling and kicking my feet.

Elijah and Autumn went from enemies to lovers way too fast! I wanted to see way more tension between them and more denying of feelings. It would've added to the passion between them!

I know this is likely done so you will suspect every character of being this mysterious stalker, but I did not find any comfort in Tim's character. Even at the end he seemed suspect to me lol.

All in all though, this was a cute romance and I finished it rather quickly!

I Loved this book. It was very fast paced and well written even though I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the writing style! I think it's just a style I'm not used to!

I really loved the characters as well. They were well written and I loved the romance even though I could have used a bit more spice! Their relationship was very cute and I really loved how they supported each other.

I didn't expect there to be any suspense in the book as well but it was a welcome surprise!

I'm keeping this review short but I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to my friends!

This was a very cute read. I would say it is a lighter suspense added to the romance and it was more mystery until the second half of the book before the suspense really started to kick in.
I really liked the characters and their banter throughout but I do think that some of their conversations went in circles and could have been cut a little bit. The forced proximity was done very well and just added more to the banter between them.

Ms Perfectly Fine was just that, fine. It was a good book, but not something I am going to remember next month.

I liked both Autumn and Elijah! I thought their character development was great. What I didn’t really enjoy was how unrealistic their first few days living together were! I get that romance novels are not supposed to be realistic and it helped the enemies to lovers vibe, but in what world would someone just move in and start construction on a house someone else is also renting. And to remove their property and change the locks on them… That was a bit much! Also, Autumn went too far with the whole using Elijah’s money without asking…

Also Brinkley was the best character! A puppy always makes the story better. I also enjoyed the mystery sub plot! I wish it carried out longer and in more depth. The spice was great! Did I think the flip in the relationship happened too quickly, yes, but I think it was well written! Also, I know this was an ARC, but I think there may have been major parts being left out? According to Amazon there is 352 pages and on NetGalley with the contents and acknowledgments it was only 261, so that could have contributed to the rushed feeling.

Overall I think it was a pretty standard enemies to lovers. I liked it, but didn’t love it! I say still give it a try as it might be for some people! Thank you to NetGalley and Kate Callaghan for the opportunity to read the ARC for an honest review!

The cover is adorable but the book itself did not stand out to me. I liked that the male fell first but did not like his character. There was a lot going on and it felt very rushed in the second half of the book.

Thank you to Kate Callaghan and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

First, I am absolutely in love with the cover of this book. It instantly caught my eye and I did not care what it was about, I knew I needed to read it.

Second, this book was cute but it felt rushed. But then the second part of the book dragged. I loved how Elijah fell first, and I also loved the banter. The writing was okay. But as I said, I kind of lost interest in the second half.

Omg I LOVED this book. This is the first book I read from this author and WOW was I impressed!
This book follows Elijah, who is a game designer, & Autumn famous pianist who are forced to live together. It is the perfect mix of romance and suspense, I read it in two nights (which is very fast considering I'm a busy mom) I could not put it down! Highly recommend,

Thank you netgalley for my advanced copy of this book. This is a voluntary review and is completely my opinion.

I was completely engrossed and touched by this book. Autumn and Elijah’s story is filled with painful memories, physical pain, but with courage and tenderness to see them through. They start out as enemies when he encroaches on her living space and there are some very funny scenes as they try to one-up each other! But the story really gets going when their sparring becomes banter, leading to a very sweet coming together. There’s a bit of a mystery in this story, too, which adds another layer. I really enjoyed this book!

I DNF'd this book about 25% of the way through. I thought Elijah was an insufferable jerk (even in his own POV, which, yes, showed a little of his thought process and some of him being a little less awful, but still). I wasn't even rooting for them to find a way to cohabitate, let alone actually get together; all I wanted was for Autumn to cuss him out and kick him out.
The way they spoke to each other might have worked for me if they'd had any sort of history, but since they'd just met--in a VERY high-stress situation, especially for Autumn--it read more as childish antagonism that felt very out of place than banter that could eventually draw them together.
I know it's an enemies-to-lovers, and them hating each other at the beginning is the point, but as a reader *I* still need to want them together during the enemies portion for a romance book to land for me, and I didn't.

The book seemed promising, but in the end felt overwhelming and like the author was trying to do too much with the plot.

I initially enjoyed the match of Autumn and Ei, along with the initial attempts by autumn to get Eli to move out. My enjoyment was watered down with the drawn out adventures of home life and the addition of the mystery the final portion of the book. The pacing could be adjusted as some portions were too fast and other too slow. Overall, I did not enjoy this book.

Thank you to the editor for the chance to read and review this book.

This is a really interesting take on a romance - while it may lean romantic suspense, the suspense was definitely on the lighter side. There was a lot of humor woven throughout. I think the chronic pain aspect of this book was done SO well, both how Autumn was portrayed, and how Elijah treated her, it brought the story from a 3 to a 4 for me. It really is great to see this sort of representation in a book. I almost think the suspense part of the story came as an afterthought, and I'm not entirely sure it's needed. Autumn and Elijah had enough going on that it would have held the story I think. I'm torn because there are parts of the book I really did enjoy, but others felt a little off. I think if you want to dip your toes into a romantic suspense without it being too awful, and still focused on the romance primarily, this would be for you. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to provide my honest review.

I really wanted to love this book. The premise was great and I love a great stalker romantic suspense but it just fell a bit short for me in some places. I feel like there were lots of inconsistencies that kept throwing me off both with timing and location. Example without spoiler: they were supposed to be in the bedroom but on the next page (same scene) they were suddenly grabbing something from next to the couch without ever moving. And sometimes I thought it was the weekend but all the sudden it was Monday. I found myself having to reread areas to try and clarify for myself.

I did love the chronic pain representation and love that it was own voice written. You could really tell the care the author took with this subject! As someone who also deals with chronic pain this really drew me in.

All in all I think that this book has potential but the inconsistencies just still need to be tightened up so that the story can flow better.

Thank you to NetGalley for gifting me with an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.

Let me just say- absolute perfection. I loved this book so much. Autumn and Elijah made me WEAK. I couldn’t put it down. Also, this is quite possibly the most beautiful romance novel cover I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to have a copy for me shelves.
