This was a cute children’s book that demonstrated how no matter what shape or size you are you can get along with anyone or anything! Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest feedback!

This book is put together as a picture book, but it is way too long. Not only is it broken up in chapters, each page it is just covered in words. The information is good, so it serves its purpose, but it comes from a smaller publisher that isn’t ready to run with the Big 5 yet. Overall, I like the book but it’s not one that I would buy for my community or for my personal library.

Three Yorkies go with their owner to an Alpaca ranch and meet many different animals. They discover that even though they are different, they can all be friends. Cute illustrations and an enjoyable story.

A failure and no mistake, this features some dogs going to meet some alpaca crias, and absolutely everyone has a name beginning with J (apart from those who don't, of course) and then it turns into a lesson about the Iditarod sled dog race, and while some pages are naively simple in their visuals the rest are just splodges of full-on text that will not appeal to the target audience. And then skipping forward an African tortoise turns up, just because, and then it's the end. And I'm left admitting the creator of this has beaten me hands down – Number of Kids' Books Created = 1-0. But would I ever put my name to something so shoddy and naive and frankly pointless? No sirree.

I am so, so torn about dropping in the obvious joke about this book and pond-life. Aargh, that old nominative determinism debate...
