A lovely coy romance to cuddle up to on a cold day. Make sure you have a nice hot cuppa with you too. I'm not much of a romance reader but I do love a good story that is warm and fuzzy, has a bit of substance and is easy to read.
And this book is all that and more. It is fun, entertaining, heart-warming, romantic and has some great characters. Oh and Christmas... Who doesn't love Christmas. An all round good book to read.
Thank you NetGalley and HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Starcross Manor is running a competition for an all expenses wedding to launch themselves into the lucrative wedding business. Unexpectedly though the wedding planner they employed left with no warning and the winning couple were due to arrive. Not knowing what to do Julia, Flynn’s fiancée suggests they ask his sister Libby if she can help before she flies off to America to start her new job as a fashion designer
After agreeing to help Libby gets started but things don’t work out as as is expecting with the winning couple especially when the bride asks for her dress to be plain and black and that is just the start
Will things get better or will it be a complete disaster?
I really enjoyed it

This book gave off warm fuzzy vibes from the very beginning and I needed it! I simply adore Christie Barlow and I look forward to reading any book she puts out. They are always a 5 star read for me and this one was no exception. I loved Libby and Guy's store. One of the best holiday Rom-Coms I've read so far this year.
I just reviewed A Winter Wedding at Starcross Manor by Christie Barlow. #NetGalley

Here I am at book twelve in this series, and I know I must sound like a stuck record to the people who read my reviews, but I really do envy anyone who can start the whole series from the beginning and discover the wonderful residents of Heartcross.
Libby is spending one last Christmas with her brother, Flynn at Starcross Manor, before she moves to New York to work in the fashion industry. So having packed up her home, she is staying in one of the lovely lodges and just relaxing before the big day and the big move.
However her brother has an ulterior motive as well, could she stand in for the wedding planner that has resigned with no notice for one of the biggest weddings of the year to put Starcross on the map. This wedding seems odd, the prospective bride and groom are not behaving as Libby would have expected. Something just feels wrong and when things start to happen, it seems that Libby is embroiled in the problems.
Guy is a videographer, been called in to film the wedding for Starcross promotion and finds himself not only working with Libby, but living next to her too. Guy is not a fan of weddings at all, and is reluctant to throw himself in wholeheartedly to the project but there is something about Libby he cannot resist. And when his little girl also develops and attachment to Libby it seems his plan of avoiding romance and weddings is not going to be this years Christmas wish!
Will the wedding go to plan or will there have to be some last minute changes? Of course Heartcross will embrace all the changes and help in that community minded way that makes Libby wonder why she is leaving it all behind to go to New York?
The author does it again, with likeable and some disagreeable characters that makes the perfect Christmas tale, with added sparkles, laughs and mistletoe!
Perfect for all fans of feel good fiction – Christie Barlow does it in buckets!

Another lovely instalment from Loveheart Lane. This is one of my favourites in the series. A lovely book with both new and we'll known characters. Enjoy!

Flynn Carter has a plan to show off Starcross Manor as the best wedding venue for miles – a competition to win a perfect a Winter wedding.
His good friend Guy is ready to film and photograph the whole thing showing the very best Starcross manor has to offer, but when the wedding planner walks out and leaves everything in the lurch, Flynn’s fiancé Julia suggests he calls on his wedding mad, fashion designer sister – Libby for help. At a loose end for a few weeks before starting a new life in New York in the job of her dreams, Libby can’t resist. Working together Libby and Guy make the perfect team but as things keep going wrong, they are convinced there’s something more to it.Will the wedding go ahead as planned or will Starcross Manor be in the news for all the wrong reasons?
A beautiful read bringing new characters to Love Heart Lane. Fall in love with Heartcross all over again with this latest book in the series, and Christies wonderful writing means it can also be enjoyed as a stand a lone story, and of course we get to meet up with some of the villagers we already know.
I received an early copy of this book from Netgalley and Publisher One More Chapter in return for my honest review.

I absolutely adore the Love Heart Lane series by Christie Barlow, and this one might just be my favourite one yet (I know I say that every time).
Libby goes to her brother, Flynn’s, rescue when his hotels wedding planner resigns unexpectedly, and organises a Christmas Eve wedding, not one that comes without its challenges. That’s where she enlists the help of the videographer, Guy. Despite not being a fan of weddings Guy can’t help but come to Libby’s aid.
This is the twelfth book in the series but could be read as a standalone, although I highly recommend the full series. They are easy, feel-good reads and we get all the lovable characters returning each time.
Libby and Guy are great characters who connect instantly. My favourite in this have to be Holly and Pickle, both are so adorable. Not forgetting the returning characters like Flynn and Julia.
This one is the contender for my favourite in the series because of the Christmas elements, that are added to what are always delightful reads. And those huts I want to move into one of them, they sound perfect.
They aren’t kidding when they say one you arrive in Heartcross you don’t want to leave, because I never do.

Loved this book so much. I love this series and all the characters but I do love a good Christmas book. And this was perfect. The owner of Starcross Manor needs help after his wedding planner disappears after they launched a competition for someone to get married on Christmas eve so who are they gonna call on but his sister who has a few spare weeks before flying to New York to start her dream job.
She's not looking for love but she may of stumbled on it anyway.
And with the man of her dreams with a little girl in tow this could be the best Christmas ever.
Can not wait for more from this series.

This is such a gorgeous festive cosy story that is definitely perfect for the upcoming festive season, I highly recommend!

A great cosy romance! Just what you need now the weathers turned! This book suits being curled up with a nice hot drink! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book.

I was lucky enough to have the chance to join @onemorechapterhc read-along for “A Winter Wedding at Starcross Manor” by @christie_barlow
This book made it getting colder much easier as I actively reached for my blanket and questioned if it’s too early for the log burner to be fired up whilst reading this 😂
In summary, this book is a comforting and cosy read full of friendships, beautiful settings, a little bit of scheming and romance with just enough angst/what ifs so you appreciate that happily ever after!
I just smiled throughout reading this ….what more can you ask for in a book!
4🌟

With Love Heart Lane and Christie Barlow, they are a match made in heaven when reading the books in this series. I can never wait for the next to appear. Well worth 5 stars, it's fantastic.
Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this ARC

I love reading holiday books set in a romantic winter setting and Scotland makes the perfect setting for this one!
Told from fashion designer Libby’s point of view, Libby is on her way to her dream job in New York City when her brother suddenly needs her to come and plan a winter wedding at Starcross Manor, a resort that he is hoping will become the setting of many weddings. Libby is happy to spend the holidays helping her brother. She doesn’t expect to meet and fall in love with Guy, who has some serious family drama! At first he is hesitant to open up to Libby, but gradually he does, and they fall in love. Soon Libby is torn between her desire to go to New York for her career and her wish to stay in Scotland and make a home with Guy and his daughter.
There is also a bit of a mystery in this one as someone keeps sabotaging Libby’s efforts to plan the perfect wedding!
This is a sweet, clean romance with a little family drama and lots of happy vibes. The Christmas wedding Libby plans sounds beautiful and this makes the perfect holiday or winter read!
Thank you @onemorechapter for my gifted book. My thoughts are my own.

What a lovely, whimsical romance this has been! A Winter Wedding At Starcross Manor is set in the Scottish highlands and features all the magic of the season and none of the downsides. The setting is like a scene from a fairytale. There is a frozen lake for skating, snow flakes and ice crystals decorating the trees. It’s a winter wonderland. Starcross Manor is oppulent and comes complete with a doorman and separate luxury lodges in which our hero and heroine are housed. Libby’s comes with a hot tub that leats to a delightful meet-cute when Guy’s daschund leaps into her tub, causing Libby, clad in a bikini and a red bobble hat to get out. Naturally guy finds the scenery very appealing.
These two are lovely characters. Libby is a talented wedding dress designer and has just landed a dream job with a New York fashion house. She’s helping her brother Flynn before she leaves by stepping into the shoes of his former wedding planner, who left abruptly. She’s a kind and generous character but is cautious about relationships after being devastated when her fiancé broke off their engagement just a few months before their wedding. Guy is very much a loner. He’s guarding his heart too, though for slightly different reasons. He’s a brilliant film maker, focusing mainly on landscape and wildlife, though he’s agreed to help Flynn as a favour. He’s taciturn at times and it was lovely to see Libbby slowly breaking the ice around his heart. Guy’s six year-old daughter Holly is just gorgeous and comes close to stealing the scene at times.
I loved the dialogue and the imagery in this story. The humour is there most of the time, but with a light touch. Imagine Guy towing his dog Pickle around on a sled and you’ll get the idea. This has been such a sweet story to read.

I thought this book was really cute. I completely changed my mind about half way through on some characters.
I loved the friendship and community that was shown in this.
I later found out this is part of a 14 book series. I’ll definitely be grabbing the rest!

I absolutely love the Love Heart Lane books, although this book is number 12 in the series, there is still a lot to enjoy in this book and new characters to get to know. This book can be read as a Standalone novel but I suggest that you read the previous books as they are fantastic.
This book features the new characters, Guy and Libby. Libby is Flynn's sister and she is helping her brother with a wedding that is set in Starcross Manor. We also catch up with a lot of the previous characters, which is very enjoyable.
This is a gorgeous cosy and festive read. It was easy to read and very heartwarming. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for my ARC.

Another cosy book by Christie. One that will give you all the festive feelings. It is warm and cosy and an enjoyable read.

Thank you to publishers for this copy of A Winter Wedding At Starcross Manor.
This novel is so cosy and gave me Hallmark movie feels.
I read this book as part of a bookclub and I was so interesting to read and really think about what was going on. The events had me turning the pages to see what would happen next.
Questions thrown out about Miranda and David and just what was up with Jenny had me invested in this novel
I loved the main characters Guy and Libby they really made this book so cosy.
The writing was perfect in this novel, it was cosy but the slight mystery woven through as well as the overall plot kept me turning the pages.

A Winter Wedding at Starcross Manor is a perfect cosy winter escape to beautiful Scotland. I loved the chemistry between Libby and Guy and I think Flynn is so amazing. This story shows the importance of family, friendships, the community and following your heart. It's uplifting and heartwarming with a great cast of characters.

This book has everything you need in a Christmas book, romance, snow, beautiful scenery and mystery. Libby agrees to help her brother by organising an all expenses paid wedding for a competition winner at his hotel. She has some time off work before starting a new life in New York doing her dream job. After being jilted just before her wedding years before she is unsure how it'll make her feel. Libby is a lovely character and immediately fits in at the manor house and the village, she is a true romantic and very skilled seamstress and designer. She is immediately attracted to the aloof Guy who is making the promo videos for her brother. They work really well together but soon things start going wrong with the wedding plans.
I really enjoyed reading this novel and spending time with these characters. I now know this book is no.12 in the series and I'll definitely be reading the others but it could be read as a standalone book. It deals with some important themes really well and the importance of love and community shines through.
It gave me all the warm fuzzy festive feels.
