Thank you to Netgalley and HarperCollins for the opportunity to read this book!
Jeanie moves from Boston to Dream Harbor to take over her Aunt's coffee shop and make a new, quieter life for herself. This small town is anything but quiet, and she falls in love, makes new friends, and finds a new home. This book has everything you want in a fall book - small town vibes, cozy friendships, a rescue alpaca named Harry Styles, and a sex-positive Nana! I loved it!

This was a sweet, small town romance which was quite spicy near the end.
I enjoyed Jeanie and Logan's friendship/relationship. They both had some insecurities which took them some time to work out. There was a bit of a mystery to solve. I loved the small town feel, the relationships between the friends and how they all looked out for each other.

Fans of all things fall, small town romance (with a little spice), and a bit of mystery to top it off, will love this book.
Jeanie is an insecure overthinker trying to be chill. Logan is quiet, hunky farmer trying to keep to himself. Jeanie is trying to start a new life. Logan has a broken heart. They don't want to be attracted to one another, but they can't seem to stay away. When Jeanie needs help figuring out what the strange sounds are at night keeping her awake, Logan is enlisted to help solve the mystery.
The cover, the title, and the fact that it takes place during the fall at The Pumpkin Spice Cafe gives this story such a warm, cozy feel. It would be perfect read on a crisp, autumn day cuddled in a soft blanket with a cup of hot cocoa. I liked that the story is written from both Jeanie and Logan's perspectives.
Personally, for me, I would have liked it a bit heavier on the mystery and lighter on the spicy scenes. Other than that, I enjoyed the experience of reading this book!

A sweet feelgood Autumnal romance that ticks the boxes for cosy, rural small town vibes which has a lot of chemistry and sizzling love scenes Jeanie and Logan had a great dynamic throughout the book and the supporting cast of funny and quirky characters definitely set the scene for future books in the series which I liked.

🎃☕️When Jeanie inherits a cafe from her aunt and strange things start happening to the business, she turns to Logan for help. Logan, who loves his rescue farm animals and produce, is hesitant to offer help to Jeanie until the Mayor forces him to spend the night with Jeanie on a ghost hunt.
💫 This was a fast, uncomplicated read that does not try anything new in genre - straight up romance with a happily ever after.
While the side characters could’ve been given more depth and personalities they are mainly intended to help Jeanie and Logan figure out their feelings and next steps.
If you’re looking for a straight romance with a tinge of mystery, enjoy the grumpy/sunshine troupe, and want a fast read, consider this book!

Have you come across a book that has vibes made just for you? Like you have to read it? It's calling you? This book is that for me!
A grumpy sunshine cosy small-town romance which is perfect to read during fall!
This book had me hooked from the very first
sentence!
I kept smiling while reading this and was laughing in parts too.
This book makes my heart happy!
I wanna move to a small town and find my own sexy farmer 😂

this book was a lovely find the cover draw me in. from the very started I was wanting to read more.a cute cafe with some spicy moments .

Broody small town farmer meets highly strung big city girl, an essential grumpy x sunshine mix that was exactly what the doctor ordered.
This cosy, fall themed sex romp, set against the background of small town charm, an underlying cafe-centred mystery and iconic townsfolk had me hooked with its spicy hi-jinks.
The slow burn romance was tantalisingly cruel but built out the characters and town until i was dying for any bit of side character gossip.
The cleverly named rescue animals were a soft and humorous touch that i loved. The bobs especially - Marley and Dylan - have given me potential pet name ideas and inspired a few late night scrolls on the dogs trust website.
The chemistry between the MC's was giddy and inviting but the back and forth between side characters like Bennet, Annie and Noah was what made this book unputdownable. Im begging for more, im screaming for more! When is the next instalment!
Right now i just want a big burly bearded farmer to come take care of me during this book hangover but i think Jeanie has Logan firmly locked down.

This is a cosy autumn romance set in a cute town. The grumpy farmer/sunshine coffee shop owner relationship develops at a believable pace. The spice factor, for me, was high! I'm a closed door kind of reader but the door is left open in this one. I really enjoyed this seasonal romance.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

A great, typical, predictable small town romance. There’s a reason why people love this genre and keep reading them even though they all follow the same formula. We love them. They’re like your favorite, cozy blanket.

This book was so cute. I loved seeing the depth to the characters. I loved how he was working past his issues. I loved seeing them grow. I highly recommend checking the book out. Although, the writing was a little bit hard for me to get into.

The Pumpkin Spice Café is the perfect autumnal read. Eager for a new beginning, Jeanie moves to Dream Harbour after her auntie bequeaths her The Pumpkin Spice Café.
In addition to discovering how to run a business, Jeanie has a member of the town causing damage to her café in a bid to drive her out of town. Worst of all, she must not fall for the flannel wearing grumpy farmer who, after a past heartbreaker, the town fiercely protect.
This was such a sweet easy read. I absolutely adored the small-town setting and the many great characters encountered throughout: The book club, Dot, Norman, Grandpa and Grandma. Really loved the snippets of Mac and Annie’s and Noah and Hazel’s interactions and I’m hoping we will get to read their stories too.
Logan was just so utterly perfect. He’s a clear over thinker after past events but he’s so utterly sweet and falls fast and hard. If you need any other reason to love this flannel wearing farmer, he also has a alpaca called Harry Styles.
Read if you enjoy:

This was such a cute read. I really loved all the characters in the book and enjoyed the humour, particularly in Jeanie’s narrative, but also how this was just a pair of people super into each other scrambling with their fight or flight responses. Logan was a big sweetheart and I’m such a sucker for a man who blushes. On top of that, it’s easy to understand where his fears stem from and I definitely think I’d be as gun shy as him in the same circumstances but it’s lovely to see his debate over where his thoughts and actions are stemming from and whether he truly wants to change to take a chance with Jeanie and make it work. Logan and Jeanie have a fun relationship with plenty of ridiculous shenanigans but they’re also pretty shy and tentative around each other. It fills this romance with warmth and gave me tender feelings towards both of them.
There’s also a great cast of side characters around Dream Harbor and they were full of personality and charm, which I felt really added to the book (even if they were sometimes more of a hindrance to the unfolding romance than they intended to be - doesn’t every small town gossip and meddle?). I didn’t necessarily feel chemistry between Jeanie and Logan but I did love their characters and the sweetness of their romance so I can overlook that one thing!
I received a free copy of this book. All views are my own.

This book was just okay for me. It felt like it jumped right into the love connection between Jeanie and Logan. I didn’t feel much of a connection between the two until later on in the book. In my opinion, the love connection was a little cringy. As for fall vibes I didn’t get much of that from the book other than a small section of the book where they are attending a fall festival. Not the worst book I’ve read but not a stand out either.

This was an enjoyable cosy romance. Small town, grumpy x sunshine and lots of pumpkin spice lattes. I really enjoyed the character arcs and the relationship between Jeanie and Logan, there’s also the cute cat called Casper.

A nice read, specially if you’re into love at first sight. I’m not, and that’s why it didn’t get many stars from me. The mistery part wasn’t really a mistery (I figured it out right from the start).

This was such a cute read - exactly what I was hoping for when I picked up this book. It is a fun, cozy fall read that I finished in a couple of hours. A bit silly at times, but it made me laugh out loud so I can’t complain. It was a little light on the mystery but the romance was super cute. Overall, it was very enjoyable to read and I am looking forward to hopefully read future books with the romances for the other characters!

This book was a cute little read. Great if you don`t want to think too much while reading. It`s reather short with it`s 200 pages, so it mainly focuses on the porotagonists. The story doesn`t go too far into the lifes of the side characters, which I personally don`t find that bad once in a while. Even though, they were quite loveable and I would have love to get to know them better. I`m a sucker for all kind of fall related setting, so this one got me good.

Jeanie is surprised to inherit The Pumpkin Spice Cafe from her aunt who is alive and well. Normally she would have said no to something like this but she is looking for a fresh start and this is her chance, in a small quaint town. Logan is the towns local farmer who actively avoids the rumor mill but he can’t stop thinking about the new coffee shop owner. They couldn’t be more opposite, she’s up beat and all sunshine and he’s cloudy and grumpy. But opposites do attract…
The Pumpkin Cafe is warm and cozy and the perfect sunshine meets grumpy read for fall! I am a sucker for this trope and the fact that it’s set in a small town during the fall was an immediate win for me. Truly atmospheric and all characters were written well. I enjoyed it very much and now I’m craving pumpkin lattes and crisp autumn weather. I recommend this read if you’re looking for a warm hug, crisp autumn air, and a light hearted read! This is one you’ll want a physical copy of! Thank you NetGalley, One More Chapter, & HarperCollins UK for this eARC.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Three stars is a little generous for this lackluster romance that follows the main character, Jeanie, through inheriting a cafe in a small town. She meets Logan, the burly and shy farmer, and immediate sparks fly.
Personally, their attraction and Logan’s need to make Jeanie happy was too instantaneous. The plot was very basic: Jeanie gets cafe, wants to fit in with small town, unweave the mystery of who is messing with the cafe (there was no real mystery there), falls in love with quiet farmer.
I felt this plot really needed a stronger drive to keep the story going - a bigger climax was deeply necessary.
There were some enjoyable bits however this book was definitely not for me.
