Susan Lewis always writes a good book and this was no exception. Intriguing from start to finish, we'll worth picking up

This fast-paced thriller by Susan Lewis kept me guessing until the very end. The story cleverly weaves between the present day and the plot of a mysterious manuscript. At first, the large cast of characters was a bit overwhelming, but sticking with it paid off. The glimpse into the world of publishing was fascinating, and the main character's growing anxiety as secrets are revealed had me racing through the pages. This is a great pick for fans of twisty suspense novels!

With this being her 50th book, Susan Lewis proves she's a master storyteller with a seemingly endless well of ideas. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

Susan Lewis never disappoints and is someone you can always rely on to deliver a good book
In this book, another book is also featured within the chapters. The reader quickly learns that the story within the book is the main characters story with lots of twists and revelation of secrets
At first, I did struggle to get into this, mainly because there were so many characters.
However, I am really pleased that I persevered.
One thing I particularly liked reading about in this book was the insight into publishing. The tasks that the editors have to do, the authors meetings. It’s all so exciting how a book is an idea in someone’s head waiting for an agent to buy it and make the idea words onto paper which eventually is the book you are reading.
The main character, Marina, clearly has something to hide and the author sending her pages of their book is desperate to reveal her secrets. I could feel her anxiety through the pages.
I was racing through the chapters to find out how the story ended and loved this book so much
You will see from the cover, that this is the authors 50th book to be published! The author is certainly not shy of talent and appears to have a lot of ideas left to put into books
Really looking forward to the next release by this author!

“Fiction can do strange things to a person. It messes with reality and memory and sometimes puts old nightmares back at centre stage.”
Marina Forster has left her past behind.
She’s happily married with twin daughters and head of fiction at a publishing house.
That Girl is just another novel by an aspiring author - but as she reads, the parallels between the novel and her own past become very clear.
She becomes paranoid unsure of who to trust.
A very cleverly written psychological thriller - a book within a book.
A gripping and emotional read.

Marina has a great life, head publicist for a top book agency, two beautiful daughter and fantastic husband, until one day their good friend and editor Noel calls to ask Marina to look at a book a mystery author has sent over. As Marina starts to read the story echoes of the past emerge as the narrator weaves a story of murder and the wrong person going to prison. Another fan Susan Lewis book.

A great read from Susan. Took me a while to get used to the characters between what is really happening in the book and what is the fiction aspect. Marina and Maxim sound like a very strong couple.

Susan Lewis is a gem and I have completely adored this one. This is an author who gets better and better. This is brilliant from beginning to end. I have devoured this in just one sitting.

I am a huge fan of Susan’s books and I always find myself transported. This has been no different, I have been desperate to see how this one was going to play out.

Marina and Maxim are a very successful couple. Marina is a publisher who receives a manuscript from what she assumes is an aspiring, hopeful author. However, as Marina reads chapter by chapter, she becomes convinced the story is linked to her past.

This is a brilliant read from beginning to end. I loved reading the chapters of the book to see what had taken place. Along with Marina, I have been intrigued at the author details. This is one that has kept me guessing and trying to predict throughout. I thought I’d guessed but soon found I was in the complete wrong areas.

This is a book that is perfectly paced. I couldn’t help but devour page after page. This is a book that has completely captured my attention and left me craving more.

Lewis is definitely one of the best authors of our time. This has been a gem from beginning to end. There has been nothing to dislike about this book. I love how the characters are completely mixed.

Lewis has seamlessly brought characters together which has all brought things to the dramatic events which take place. This is just brilliant from beginning to end.

I have adored this book and everything about this book. This is a masterpiece from beginning to end. I absolutely cannot wait to see what comes next from Susan Lewis.

This is a definite for the TBR. I have no hesitation in recommending this to everyone.

Every book I have read from this author I have just loved so when her latest book called I Know It’s You by Susan Lewis came out I had to find a quiet spot in my garden, open my kindle and dive into her book. Susan always write from her heart and this book was no different. It was beautifully written from start to finish. Especially as book marks Susan Lewis’ 50th novel, which is quite an achievement and a remarkable read.

I highly recommend All of Susan's books. They will not disappoint!

Marina, a publisher, initially dismisses the first chapter of a manuscript as just another work from an aspiring writer.

However, as subsequent chapters arrive, she becomes convinced that they recount her own past, leading her to believe that one person is responsible.

Marina is faced with a dilemma, as this is a story she desperately wishes to keep from being published. The question is, how far is she willing to go to prevent its release?

I Know It's You marks a significant milestone as it is Susan Lewis' 50th book! It delivers a thrilling and unique psycho-thriller experience. The story's dual timeline, with one set in the present day and the other in a a different narrative (as a book), initially posed a challenge as it wasn't always easy to keep up/remember which characters correlated with who, but the payoff was worth it.

The dual timeline gave the characters a lot more substance. Whilst I can't say I particularly warmed to any of them, they were all very different, each with their own complexities. Their distinctiveness and hidden agenda's contributed to the book's twisty nature as I was constantly questioning the guilt of each character which kept me in suspense.

As with many of her previous novels, Susan Lewis continues her exploration of themes like relationships, friendships and family dynamics. I love that many of the relationships (both romantic and platonic) were portrayed with their flaws and strengths, which made them feel very authentic.

Overall a rollercoaster of a read, which offers originality and a plethora of unexpected twists.

📖BOOK REVIEW📖
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

⏩synopsis

This was a really meaty and quite heavy feeling read; not necessarily a bad thing as I enjoyed reading it, but it definitely made you work for your rewards. I loved the uncertainty about all the characters but also how human and relatable they were making you constantly question your loyalties and beliefs about them.

The plot was interesting and pretty unique - story within a story which played out at a steady pace giving you just enough to keep you interested. I did find I was waiting for the twist that would have lifted the excitement level but unfortunately that never came and the big reveal wasn’t that big really kinda just a yea ok I expected that. In saying that, this was a good solid book that is ultimately very rewarding to read.

Happy 50th Book to #SusanLewis what an achievement 👏

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

Marina is a ph lusher who receives a manuscript to read, assuming it is just another novel form an aspiring writer. That is until she starts to read it and is then convinced it is about her life when she receives the chapters one by one. Marina doesn’t want or need the story to get out of a scandal, trial and trauma from her past and will be anything she can to stop it from being published.

This was an enjoyable read

Good storyline which kept me guessing anyone one person could have been accountable for the murder

Susan Lewis always promises to be a good enjoyable read and this did not disappoint .

Marina is a successful publishing executive, married to the company director and has 2 gorgeous children. She has the perfect life, but it hasn’t always been that way. Many years ago, Marina was embroiled in a scandal and trauma, which nearly broke her. But just what really happened and who was really responsible?

Marina is asked to read the prologue and 1st few chapters of a book from an aspiring author, as soon as she reads these opening chapters she is dragged back into the nightmare of the past. Soon the past becomes entangled with the present and Marina begins to feel she’s losing not just her mind but her whole life too.
Who is the anonymous author behind this book? Could it possibly be the person she suspects? If so how is that possible and what can she do to protect herself and her family?

This story is told in alternative chapters from what is happening in real life, the chapters from the story and what happened in the past

It was an interesting read, which kept you guessing who could be involved, what really happened and who was really responsible

Another great read from Susan and I recommend

Firstly the biggest CONGRATULATIONS to Susan Lewis on her '50th' novel, what an amazing achievement, I cant believe that I have read the majority of them!

Now I am a HUGE Susan Lewis fan and have been for a long long time.... so I absolutely hate to admit that I just didn't particularly like this one 😥 it didn't feel like the usual style of this author which I've grown sonused to.

This is written as a book within a book which sounds confusing enough but then throw in a vast amount of characters and the confusion doubles. My brain felt frazzled at times and there were alot of instances where a character was named and I had to back track to remember who they were and whether they were in the 'real' book or the book within.

The characters were unlikeable, over privileged and cold. I couldn't relate to any of them and that's a massive negative for me.

Whilst at times I felt the story was an interesting concept, it seemed to go around in circles and cover what had already been read numerous times.

Also the ending just felt anticlimactic... nothing was really solved and there are too many unanswered questions for my liking.

This one was just not for me sadly.

Thanks to netgalley and Harper Collins UK for the ARC.

I Know It's You by Susan Lewis centres around a murder that took place many years ago. At the time Marina was accused of Amelia's murder but was later released from prison after it was found her friend, Shana was found guilty of her murder. Shana had always portrayed her innocence, citing she had been framed for her nieces murder by Marina and her husband.

The story moves forward to present day and Marina receives an extract from a new novel to review for publication. It soon becomes apparent that the story centres around Marina's past and Marina pieces together that the mystery author is Shana, who is out to seek revenge.

This book was a real page turner, full of mystery and suspense. I could not book this book down and finished within two days, it was that good!

You can clearly see why Susan Lewis is such an established and exceptional author. I can only offer her praise for her 50th novel.

So we meet Marina a publisher, who is asked to read a book on behalf of a new author. As the story begins to unfold the plot holds a chilling resemblance to events in Marina’s life that happened 15 years ago.

It’s a book within a book telling a story of lies, extortion and murder! As Marina tries to figure out who the author is and what really happened 15 years ago, she begins to question everyone around her.

This is Lewis’ 50th book! I’ve read some of her others and this wasn’t one of her best but was still an enjoyable read. Using the manuscript within the book to tell the story was very clever and there were some shocks along the way.

I received an early copy of this, it’s out now 📚❤️
