Wow!!! Another fantastic piece of work. This books keeps you guessing and wondering and changing your mind in every chapter.
This is a book within a book and a very clever idea which reads brilliantly.
Marina and Shana are very complex characters with an unusual story to tell.
Fantastically written pure Susan at her best
Highly Recommended

I have always loved Susan’s books particularly the kesterley based ones as they are like coming home being so familiar!
I know it’s you had a very different feel to it and initially I found it quite confusing having two stories running parallel but thats a reflection on me and my menopausal brain and not the author!
Once I got a few chapters in and was familiar with the characters this psychological thriller drew me in and I couldn’t wait to see what the next chapter revealed!
The twists and turns came thick and fast keeping you entranced and surprising you with each new revelation!
Thank you netgalley for this early read.

A perfect life married to a successful businessman with teenage twin daughters. The nightmare secrets of a scandalous murder and court case are in the past. Now managing a successful publishing company a request from an anonymous author to consider publication of a story that bears an uncanny likeness to her secret past is received setting off a catastrophic chain of events and resurrecting deadly enemies. When memories and post traumatic stress blur the lines between fact and fiction, panic and mayhem can be the only outcome. A story told in two timescales, one the present day with living characters, the other a supposedly fictional account with fictional characters given different names but a supposedly true account of past events. Complex situations escalated in the mind of the chief protagonist by panic, guilt, trauma and loss of control leads to unwise actions and decisions which do not bode well for a successful outcome to her nightmare scenario. Many thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.

As usual in my reviews, I will not rehash the plot - but I WILL recommend that you read this for yourself!
I've read many previous novels by Susan Lewis - this is one of her best, and is apparently her 50th! Plenty to catch up on if you are new to this talented author...
I really enjoyed this book - despite the somewhat grisly start! It's a twisty turny psychological drama, so well written that you start to wonder whether the lead character is hiding something - from herself and everybody else!
There are some interesting characters - both in the "novel within a novel" and the novel itself. I liked Marina and understood her predicament - her self-doubt made her character very believable. The baddie(s) were very well written - showing the lengths people will go to in order to extract their "pound of flesh" as it were.
The ending gave a further twist to the tale - I was not expecting it, and it made me wonder...
Recommended for readers who enjoy well plotted psych-dramas (worth catching up with Susan's back catalogue too!)
Looking forward to Susan's next book already!
My thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an ARC. All opinions my own.

Thanks NetGalley and publishers for the arc of I know it’s you by Susan Lewis.
Another brilliant Susan Lewis book. Starts with a lot of characters to get to know, but preserve and you’ll be sucked right in.

I don’t really know what to say! I love Susan Lewis and was excited to get this and when I started it I was very quickly confused by the style of this book. I really don’t know how she does it but within a few chapters there was no going back.
What an absolutely amazing book this was!
I can’t even begin to try and outline the story as I wouldn’t know where to start all I can say is if you’re a fan of Susan Lewis then this one is definitely one of her best. It kept me reading well into the night as I had no idea what the outcome would be.
We’re 50 books in and they just keep getting better and better. Roll on the next 50!
Keep doing what you do Susan you’re a master at it.
Thank you NetGalley and Harper Collins for an ARC of this book.

Another amazing book by Susan Lewis. This does open with alot of characters to remember and keep up with. But stick with it, I promise it will all start making sense and be a very good rewarding book.

I must say I found this book hard to get into the storyline, too many names to remember for me I think.
Overall I did not enjoy this as much as some of her previous books and I wasn't thrilled with the ending unfortunately.
Thank you to Netgalley and Harper Collins UK for this ARC.

There are a lot of characters in this story but if you can keep track of who is who, it is absolutely a gripping read that will keep you hooked. There are a lot of twists and turns that will keep you enthralled and guessing right until the end. That being said, however, I was surprised and disappointed at the ending as it left me with many unanswered questions.

Susan Lewis is a the absolute queen of drama novels, and her newest title solidifies that! A beautifully written and emotional tale!

I know it's you by Susan Lewis.
The first chapter of a manuscript arrives on Publisher Marina’s desk. She assumes it’s just another novel by another aspiring writer. . .
As the chapters arrive one by one, Marina is convinced they are about her past. There’s only one person who can know everything about the scandal, the trial, and the trauma that nearly broke her.
I did enjoy this book. I liked Marina and Noel. Maxim grew on me. Twisty and gripping. I didn't expect that. 5*.

This was a fantastic read with a lot of tension as publisher Marina finds herself spiralling when she keeps receiving chapters of a manuscript that she starts to associate with a terrible time in her life and leaves her doubting people in her life now. I love the format of this book in the way it balances telling Marina’s story now with book chapters representing events from years ago but told from another’s perspective, some of which leaves Marina questioning her own memory of events then. This was a real page turner for me as Marina became increasingly unstable as further chapters arrive and I was increasingly keen to find out what had happened back then. This is a fantastic book to mark Susan Lewis’s 50th publication and fans will not be disappointed.

Susan Lewis has done it again. 5 ⭐
The first chapter of a manuscript arrives on Publisher Marina’s desk. She assumes it’s just another novel by another aspiring writer…As the chapters arrive one by one, Marina is convinced they are about her past. There’s only one person who can know everything about the scandal, the trial, and the trauma that nearly broke her. This is one story that should never be told, and Marina is so desperate she will do anything to stop it getting out.
Loved this one so much. Definitely will recommend it to everyone.
Thanks to NetGalley and Harper Collins UK Harper Fiction for giving me an advance copy.
