BEYOND boring. DNF at 33%. Kept waiting for something, ANYTHING to happen. How was this classified as a thriller?!

Thank you Storm Publishing for the copy in exchange for an honest review.

Wow, this was amazing 🤩

I loved the characters in this and I was on the edge of my seat throughout most of the book.

I loved how the author incorporated a child with Asperger’s, as a mother of a child with autism, the author done this very well and fully captured how my own child is, without being negative.

I read this book within a few hours and couldn’t put it down. Would definitely recommend.

The only thing I like about this book is that it's over. I'm sorry, I don't like to be harsh but nothing happened in this book.... NOTHING. There was no thrill, no suspense, no excitement and certainly no 'revenge'.
I didn't DNF this one because I was waiting and waiting for something to happen.... but nothing ever did.
It was long, it was tedious, and just boring to be honest.
The so called 'revenge' was minor inconveniences, I didn't care for any of the characters, and it's the worst book I've read so far this year.
Don't waste your time on this one.

Thank you Netgalley for allowing me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

There are plenty of twists and turns in this one. I found myself completely hooked and unsuccessful at trying to predict where this would go.

I was instantly hooked by this one. It’s one of those books that pulls you in instantly and becomes completely unputdownable.

II’ve literally devoured this in just one sitting with no regrets. This is an absolute must read.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of The Wife's Revenge by Deidre Palmer in exchange for my honest review and opinion. I enjoyed reading this book and found it to be a great story line. Not as suspenseful as I had hoped and at times I felt it got a bit slow. I will absolutely look forward to reading more by this author in the future.

Donestic thrillers are one of my favourite tropes so I was delighted to be approved to recieve a copy of this book.

I couldn't put it down and really enjoyed the different twists throughout the story, and the characters. I struggled to put this book down and would think about it when I wasn't reading it.

An enjoyable, fast paced, gripping thriller that I highly recommend if you enjoy domestic stories.

A well paced physcological thriller that is cleverly plotted. The characters keep the reader engaged with plots of revenge.

In a captivating exploration of human frailty and the intricate web of lies, this is a suspenseful narrative that delves into the consequences of a single fateful mistake. Set against the backdrop of the close-knit town of Oakheart, the story weaves a spellbinding tale of guilt, secrets, and the unraveling of carefully constructed facades.

The portrayal of Oakheart as a tight-knit community adds depth to the story. The close relationships between families and the bonds that tie them together are expertly conveyed. The friendship between Fran and Tessa's daughters is a poignant reminder of the stakes involved, as secrets threaten to disrupt the innocence of youth.

With its engaging plot, well-drawn characters, and an undercurrent of tension that keeps readers hooked until the final revelation, this is a must-read for fans of psychological thrillers and intricate mysteries.

I received this ARC from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

I wanted to like this book and kept reading hoping it would develop, and get better but alas I found it predictable and almost boring, The chapters alternate between one woman and the wife of the man she had an affair with. I think it would gave bern better for me if the affair was ongoing but the affair was years old. The story was one that could be predicted ahead of reading it. Angry wife threatens woman about her affair,

Overall I was sad that I wasted precious reading time on this book and would not recommend it to any friends.

A twisty revenge thriller that takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride. Really enjoyed this gripping read! 5 stars

This book sounded really exciting. An affair, an angry wife, a small town. There was no twists or suspense. I felt no connection to any of the characters. The whole thing seemed really dragged out. Maybe the book would have been more exciting if it was written during the affair not two years after. I’m sad to say the only reason pushed through to finish this book was to be able to give a review and I had hoped the ending would reveal some excitement but it did not.

I always enjoy a good revenge psych thriller and The Wife's Revenge didn't disappoint! When Fran has a brief affair with Ben, she can't imagine the consequences of her betrayal. The scenarios and characters in this story were believable and realistic, and this added to my enjoyment of the plot. There's an element of unreliable narrator, as the reader is unsure who to trust and who is responsible for what. The book really picked up pace in the last third. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this arc. This was a wonderful thriller and I liked the different point of views. Revenge and lies were throughout the book and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I wondered what I would do if I was either of the women. Great book!

The Wife's Revenge is a slow build story but I found it unputdownable. It is told from the point of view of two wives, one of whom has an affair with the other woman's husband.

Fran has a seemingly perfect life with her husband and three daughters but, in a moment of boredom, finds Ben, Tessa's husband irresistible. After breaking the relationship up Fran finds strange things happening to her in the small village where both families live and eventually knows she has to either come clean to her husband or Tessa will make sure everyone knows.

Both women have flaws which I liked and made them believable. The ending is a nice twist although I did anticipate it. A good read. Many thanks to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the opportunity to read and review The Wife's Revenge.

Sadly I couldn’t get into this book. I found it too slow going at the start and I found my mind started to wander and I just lost interest.

In the end I gave up reading this book as it just wasn’t for me, however this doesn’t mean other readers will not enjoy this book.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for an advance copy of this book.
