This book is a lovely romance with a twist. In it, we meet Vita, a woman who has lived through so much but has only really loved once and was devastated when it ended. Then there’s Ben who has had a medical condition his whole life and has just been told that it has developed to the extent that he could die at any moment. He travels to London on a whim to try and work out the meaning of his life. In saving a child’s life, Vita and Ben’s lives collide. They have an instant connection and quickly work out that their skills could help each other. But will their efforts work. And will the secrets they hold tear them apart?

I hadn’t heard much about this book before I read it and I’m glad of that as it meant the twists and turns were all the more effective so I won’t say much more about the plot or the other characters. But I was really gripped and was desperate to get to the end to find out what would happen. Some of the decisions the characters make or the actions they take didn’t feel quite right, and not just in terms of reality but also in terms of how the characters had been portrayed. But I can see why the author wrote it the way they did.

Other than this slight criticism, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend to others.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

FROM NOW UNTIL FOREVER is the breath taking read of 2023 for me. I have read this kind of story after a while. Its’s characters, plot, mysteries, adventure almost everything is superb.

The story is about Ben Church who is on the verge of dying because of an aneurysm in the brain stem. He only has a few months left so he decides to live to the fullest. In London, he met Vita accidentally. After several encounters, they get to know each other and decide to chase after the alchemist’s favorite secret the philosopher’s stone so that Ben can save his life. But Vita is not actually a simple London girl. She carries thrilling centuries old secrets.

The plot hooked me from the start. There wasn’t a time when I was bored or skipping through the pages. The writer did an awesome research for writing this novel. The intricate details of history, about wars, ancient cities of Europe all are great.

The story is told from Ben and Vita’s perspective. Their characters are interesting. I like how they cared for each other despite knowing each other’s flaws. Plus I liked the characters of Ben’s Mom and sister. They were so supportive and always there for each other.

The ancient references from Sundial mottos are a great addition to the novel. Plus there are so many heart touching lines.

Now, I’ll talk about my reasons for the 4 star rating. There are some ideas and themes that I don’t want to agree with, like Vita and Sarah’s views and some other things.

In the end, it’s a heart felt novel which will take you on an emotional ride.

I’m always very, very excited when a new Rowan Coleman is published, so was over the moon to get an ARC of this via Net Galley.
Vita is the curator of a new exhibition of the works of Da Vinci. She has a particular fascination with a portrait of a young woman, and wants to uncover a code, which she believes to hold the secret of eternal life. Ben, a young man with a life limiting condition, receives bad news, travels to London on a whim and encounters Vita. Ben has developed a machine which can uncover layers of paint, so perhaps if they can work together, they can help each other out, and live the life they both want?
Beautifully romantic, and fascinating, this book explores what it might be like to live forever, or perhaps to live as though you can. It’s very clever, with some unexpected plot turns and twists. I loved the characters of Ben and Vita, and of Vita’s neighbour, Mariah, who has issues with her memory but knows who she loves. I will be thinking about this book for a long time.

I love a Time travel novel so grabbed this one back when I saw it advertised on NetGalley UK
The story concerns a young man, with an acutely, life-threatening illness, and a woman for whom time stays still as she’s immortal. Ben does not know when he will die as his brain condition is unpredictable that he will die, and it will be soon. The woman he meets, however knows that she will never die as she is immortal and it’s already lived for hundreds of years. It seems an unlikely pairing went to fall in love will it be possible for Ben to be saved?
You really have to suspend your disbelief to enjoy this book has it is a little bit unbelievable but nevertheless it is still a fun book and I really enjoyed reading it.
Hidden symbols inside a painting by Leonardo da Vinci hold the answer to preventing Ben’s imminent death.
The author has a clear easily read, prose style, and the book is fast paced enjoyable, read. The story is romantic and I really wanted to get the pair together
I saw the book compared to the Time Travellers, wife and I thought is it a reasonable comparison and people liked it will like this novel.
I read an early copy of the novel on NetGalley UK the book is published in the UK August 2023 by Hodder and Staughton
This review will appear on NetGalley, UK ,Goodreads and my book dog, bionicsarahsbooks.wordpress.com

Rowan Coleman takes you with her on an amazing journey - beautifully written, believable characters and a totally imaginative story. For lovers of Time Traveller's Wife and A Picture of Dorian Gray, with a little Me Before You thrown in for good measure. I loved, loved, loved this book.

I don't want to say too much about this amazing story, as it's better to find things out as the story progresses, but just to say that it is the story of Ben and Vita, who when they meet have an instantaneous connection that seems to be their destiny. The only problem is that Ben is living with a ticking time bomb which could kill him at any time and Vita has done so much, and until she met Ben thought she was done with life.

Rowan expertly weaves together reality with fantan y to taken us on an amazing adventure that you won't want to end. This is pure magic.

This is a poignant and romantic story that made me cry buckets and root for the characters. Time travel, star crossed lovers, life changing meeting.
A well plotted and well written story. There's passion, there's tragedy and there's the impossible time travel.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine

‘From Now until Forever’ is an unusual, beautifully drawn love story. The two people drawn to each other could not be more different: Ben, an earnest Yorkshire engineer, and Vita, a carefree London London party girl. Their encounter appears to happen by chance entirely, but is that really true or has someone engineered things? And will Vita help Ben, who has had some life-changing news, re-ignite the sparkle in his life as they bond over a shared fascination with the works of Renaissance polymath Leonardo da Vinci?

Although the reader’s attention is naturally focussed on the evolving relationship between Vita and Ben, what I liked so much about this novel was the introduction of several other fascinating minor characters who are equally worthy of merit (and who I was secretly hoping might get another outing in a future Coleman novel): Vita’s neighbour Mariah is such a fascinating character, as is Ben’s sister Kitty.

Overall, this is a very moving and beautifully written novel – highly recommended! Thank you to the publishers and to NetGalley for the free ARC that allowed me to produce this book review.

Wow what an amazing story!
I do love books that are magical themed, and this one was absolutely delightful. An emotional story, I did feel for Ben and his family, his terminal illness was like a ticking time bomb.
Vita was an interesting character, it was engaging learning about her life throughout the story.
I found it very suspenseful, despite to know if the secrets would be revealed in time to save Ben.
A brilliant book that captured my imagination on every page.

Ben has just been given devastating news and he is a ticking time bomb. Ben has never done anything extraordinary in his life but now he needs to fulfil as many of his dreams as possible while he still can.

Vita is the opposite of Ben as time is all she has. Her life is full of parties and fabulous clothes but in reality it has no meaning because she has seen and lost so much.

Ben and Vita meet and their connection is immediate and passionate. But the clock is ticking but can they find a way to pause time and make their love last forever?

Well that was an unexpected twist just a few chapters in. I won’t give any spoilers but I don’t recall ever reading a book with this type of storyline. I loved Ben and Vitas characters but my favourite character was Kitty, Bens sister. I have not read anything by this author before and the book wasn’t too long, the chapters were a great length and I liked how they alternated between the main characters. The ending was just right and finished the book perfectly. Overall a good read.

From now until Forever by Rowan Coleman is very different.
I was kucky to receive an audiobook version which was very well voiced. It made it easy to track the characters just by sound.

Usually time slip type books tend to be light and frothy but this one is very dark.
One character has a terminal illness whilst another has an interminal life. One wants to live and the other wants to die.

Hearing that a contemporary of Da Vinci took out his mobile phone and rang seems quite novel.

Its usually pretty easy to see where the plot is going but this could have gone in any direction right to the very end.

It does emphasis the need to value whatever life you have now and wriing value from every minute

If you could have forever, would you take it at the risk of losing all that is dear to you. This is the basis of this bittersweet story and what a delightful story it is.
Ben is given a devastating diagnosis and flees to London on an unplanned last chance at life. There he meets the mysterious Vita, who's experienced the best and worst of life. They embark on a relationship knowing that for Ben any day could be his last, or will it, as Vita thinks by discovering a hidden message in the works of Leonardo Da Vinci could give the secret to immortality.
All the characters were likeable and relatable but I think my favourite was Mariah.
Heartwarming novel

This is different to what I normally read and it was a modern story of love but not for me sorry I just could not get into it.

Ben Church was almost 16, when he discovered he suffered from a rare genetic disease called Marfan syndrome after having headaches and blurred vision. Now an adult, he has just been to have his regular checkup that his condition has got worse, and he has an inoperable aneurysm, and he hasn’t got long to live. Instead of going home to his Yorkshire home to tell his mother and his sister Kitty the bad news. He heads off to London where he meets Vita and instantly falls in love with her.
He instantly thinks what bad luck he has. Not only has he found out he is dying but he has found the love of his life and they don’t have a future together. They spend all the time they can together. Ben finds out that Vita is not all that she says she is, and she tells Ben that they may have a future after all. This is linked to paintings by Leonardo da Vinci that are residing in a galley that Vita owns.
Thank you, Hodder & Stoughton, for a copy of ‘From now until forever’ by Rowan Coleman. I have mixed feelings about this book. Yes, I did like the most part of the premise of this story. It is the beautiful style of writing from this author that we have come to love. But if you are not an Art lover., you may find Vita’s love of fine art and her backstory a bit overwhelming. And I found the ending a bit flat. 3.5 stars from me.

I knew from the beginning that this book was going to make me cry, I just didn’t know if they would be happy tears or sad tears.
This was such a gorgeous read; a love story that feels like the fates themselves stepped in and yet, as they say, the path of true love never runs smoothly.
I loved the differences between the two protagonists, yet for all those differences, they fitted together perfectly.
I’m not going to give any spoilers, except to say that I was right, there were tears

I always enjoy books which feature time slip or similar and this story of Vita and Ben is lovely. Da Vinci gets involved as Ben faces a very uncertain future. Vita does what she can. I loved the characters and the settings. Great descriptions of interiors and faded elegance. And the ending was as I hoped it would be. Perfect. With thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for an e-ARC to read and review.

This was such a lovely read!! I loved both main characters, Ben is so likeable and you really are made to feel as he is throughout his story. I felt so sorry for Vita and was hooked to find out if her plan worked, I also loved the additional historical stories woven throughout. Another lovely read from Coleman. Thank you so much for this arc

I really enjoyed this book. It is the story of Vita and Ben. Vita has lived a very long life and had a great love. Ben has been diagnosed with an incurable AVM which could kill him at any time. It seems that fate has brought them together and they fall head over heels in love with each other but will they have enough time.

The tale takes us through the centuries, describing in detail lots of art history with a very strong story of love running through it.

Not your usual fluffy lighthearted romance but one that is full of intrigue.

To find love is special but that didn’t enter Ben’s head until he ran into Vita and discovered true love but time isn’t on Bens side. with Vita by his side he experiences life like he never has. Vita has a huge secret that she should tell Ben but doesn’t know where to start . This is a book like no other I have read but I really enjoyed it and the thought of everlasting love is so heartwarming . A book that I finished within a day as I couldn’t put it down

After a slow start, this novel grew on me. The reader needs to suspend disbelief, as the premise is slightly far-fetched, but if they can do that, the journey is entertaining and thought provoking...........how would one cope with the gift of eternal life?.........
