A Walk in Ola's Shoes is a beautiful children's rhyming picture book raising awareness of how letting balloons fly off into the sky is so dangerous to nature and animals. Ola is just ten years old when she decides to take action to help animals in need. This book is based on a real person and her beloved dog who are helping other animals as well as raising awareness to save our wildlife. This book gives some real food for thought, and it even brought a tear to my eye! Books like this are so important, especially today, and it's never too late to educate not only children but adults too.

This is an entertaining little book. Presented in prose and colourful pictures this book presents an eco problem - balloons - and a role model of a young person sharing their ideas about caring for the environment and bringing positive change.
