Perfect book for my son who is close to losing his teeth. He won’t stop talking about this and wants it to be his nightly read.
This is a cute story with a fun twist on the story of the tooth fairy. I think young children that are beginning to lose their teeth will enjoy this story.
This book is fine but overall lacking. The illustrations are a bit off and the general proportions in particular are weird. The story itself is also a bit weird, I really don't understand where the bird came from or really what motivated him at all.
I am always looking for books that can help explain and celebrate life events for my kids. While this book was far from perfect, I enjoyed the way that it explained the process of losing teeth, and empowered the protagonist to solve her own problem while also teaching a valuable lesson about playing kind jokes on our friends.
I found the art in the book to be cute, and the characters to be ones that I think my kids would find enjoyable. The biggest thing keeping this book from a higher rating is the fact that the prose felt a bit clunky in places. I think the language could have been tightened up to tell the story more efficiently.
