Joseph Bruchac writes with such impact, that when I saw he had a new non-fiction book I had to read it. Of All Tribes does not disappoint in setting the reader straight as far as historic treaties between the government and the tribes from which it stole land. This is such an important book to read for all ages, and I really felt like I learned a lot about important Native American men and women, as well as the atrocities committed against Native American tribes and Indigenous people at the hands of the government. The protests and advocacy that Native American speakers are using has been making impacts and it's such an important resource to have these historic accounts that tell students a more nuanced view of history.
