Loved this no holds barred look at real crimes and how the police solve them, would definitely recommend to all true crime fans
A thriller of a read, action all the way and a difficult book to stop reading once you've started. It probably covers a little too much ground in that so much happens in a frenetic sequence of events, but this isn't a philosophical study. A blast. If you like crime novels you'll love this.
Actually, I was expecting a little more action, probably more detailed on the cases. But... I found it well written, easy going and entertaining. It's kind of a series you don't have to wait until the next episode, because you just have to keep on reading to find what's going to happen next. A bit of light reading if you need ap break at the end of the day. Enjoy.
Interesting, and occasionally worrying, insights into the operations of a police department and its people. The testosterone levels are high on every page of this book and the writing style is akin to 1960s pulp paperbacks but, if you can get past that, there are some great inside stories.
