Hiba Noor Khan takes us through a fascinating journey of the universe, answering such burning questions as: Why is the sky blue? What are atoms? How does friction work? What exactly is a moonquake? And, of course, how to spaghettify your dog.
With its vivid illustrations, clear and simple explanations and cheeky humour, this book will delight any budding astronomer. Equally appealing to children and their adults, I can see this being popular in many classrooms to enhance science and geography understanding. But this is much more than a scientific text book. This is a book that deserves to be lingered over, shared and discussed, so equally wonderfully to share with children at home. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would recommend to schools and families alike.

We loved How to Spaghettify Your Dog, it explains the science in a fun and easy to understand way. The jokes are an added bonus and had us laughing on each page. The illustrations are amazing and really help bring the science to life. There are lots of simple experiments to do that help you understand the topic, these are easy to follow and only need easy to find materials.

Very inspiring and some parts are truly mind bending - Time travel, spaghettification, and Quantum physics!

How To Spaghettify Your Dog, a wondrous handbook for budding physicists, stunningly illustrated by Harry Woodgate, is just AMAZING. Fascinating science made accessible! I would have been all over this book as a child and I love it as a grownup too. It’s beautiful and mind-expanding and it shows the fun and wonder in physics and science. So well done. My kids are going to love it!

This gem will truly enthrall and inspire any child (or adult) that loves science. The opportunity to delve into topics related to physics but in accessible bite-sized chunks will appeal to everyone. Short chunks of text coupled with colourful illustrations and easy, practical experiments to carry out at home or school make this a must-have purchase for my classroom. I can't wait to share it with my class.

Perfect for a child science enthusiast. This is a superbly presented children’s book. Lots of eye-catching colourful pictures and practical experiments to try out. The book covers physics based topics in a number of different world/universe based situations. There is a fair amount of text - so will need a confident child reader or supporting parent. In fact this would be a brilliant book for an adult and child to spend time together reading and discussing the topics. It would be also be good for a STEM club situation as well. Thank you to Bloomsbury Children’s Books and NetGalley for the ARC. The views expressed are all mine, freely given.
