This book was darker than I was expecting, but a good change from the norm. The story line was a little unrealistic, but still enjoyable. There is plenty of spice if that is for you. Having read other reviews on this book many people seem to dislike the pace but personally I really enjoyed the fast pace of this book, and found it good escapism. This was a billionaire 'dark' romance. It wasn't my favorite depiction of the genre. I felt like it could've been a lot darker. The writing style was 'meh' in that I feel like it needed or could have had more depth. It wasn't a terrible story. The storyline has so much potential. I will give this author a second chance with the second book in the series

I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.

Well written, fast paced storyline. It kept me gripped and i read this in a day.

I loved the relationship between Killian and Skye! And I really love billionaire romance books so this was right up my street!

The book was ok, definitely not my vibe right now , but if you like dark , stalker MMC, spice and billionaires , this is for you for sure .

Very smutty! Hot! I love Ana Huang and Lauren Asher and this felt similar in it being darker! It just felt a bit too long for me, IDK.
If it sounds good, try it!

so good im screaming! super spicy and also has a really good plot. I love when the plot makes you want to keep reading and not just the spice.

I was expecting for more but it was not dark as I thought it would be. I find myself disappointed by the lack building of character. Why created someone to be a bad character only to be dismissed so quickly? There's barely 2-3 pages of that bad character then they were gone. To be honest there was no chemistry between and there's some part moves too quickly.

There were a lot of spice scene but it did nothing to me. It didn't delivered well. Shame I like these two in the beginning.

I like spice. . This book has spice but I couldn't understand the story line. I felt their story line was dragged.out. it gave the feeling of wanting to be a 2nd chance but bot be a 2nd chance.

I think everyone knows that a book with a title like this, and these tropes, is going to be good. And it was. Tainted dreams lived up to my expectations, and delivered exactly what it promised: a contemporary romance, morally grey mmc, and grumpy x sunshine. Skye was funny, and Killian drew me in from the first page. He took morally grey to a new level, and let me just say I feel bad for anyone who dares to wrong Skye. I'll definitely be coming back for the next book in this series.

3/5 stars from me, just because it was good but nothing really new.

A super spicy, dark, billionaire romance.

Skye has had a tough life. After her artist mother lost her gallery, she turned to drugs and brought Skye along with her. At 15, Skye has experienced things no one ever should and she takes off on her own and develops a life for herself. Unfortunately for her, life isn't done dealing her a shitty hand.

Then one day she feels the eyes of a man she saw years ago on her… all the time.
Killian Asher isn't the kind of guy to fall for a girl, but Skye has a hold on him in a way no one else ever has.
This book features stalker to lovers, a possessive, obsessive, super rich - I'll give you anything you want - MMC, an overprotective brother, and a feisty FMC who's turned on by the dark side.

There isn't much plot beyond the development of their relationship and a couple tiny side plots. There's A LOT of spicy scenes but for the most part there isn't much kink (definitely a "that's a good girl" vibe.

Overall, it was a quick and dirty read that I enjoyed while reading (mostly) but probably won't remember by the time I read my next dark romance.

Tainted Dreams did not disappoint. From the very first page, I was loath to put down my Kindle and just wanted to devour the story in one sitting. I love a tattooed, dangerous, possessive man. Skye and Killian are my new favorite couple!!!
I loved this so much! I can't wait to read more!

A dark and raunchy romance, perfect for fans of Ana Heung.

I am new to a lot of the themes in this book but did find it a gripping read.

It was a DNF for me.

I just couldn’t get into it. Another billionaire obsessed with her and he’s “no good” for her. Then just leave her alone.

31% in just over a month. I even forgot I had this at one point. That’s how un-gippered I was (I know that’s not a word. If you’ve watched Red Dwarf, you know).

After reading the synopsis I was definitely intrigued and itching to read this book and I'm so glad I did.

Killian is the perfect morally grey character and I simply fell in love with him from the start. There's just something about him that pulls you in and makes you want to find out everything about him while also not being able to walk away no matter what - which is exactly what happens with Skye.

Skye... I do loved to see how our sunshine main character with a dark past grew. Watching her get more confident and finding the strength and the backbone she needed to stand up for herself thanks to kil was amazing. Tho I must admit near the end she was annoying me with her decision... She was being unfair and hypocritical but it's good she came to her senses afterwards.

The last 2 chapters and the epilogue were EVERYTHING!
I really did enjoy this book so much.
