It was okay but I’m not that much into poetry and should’ve probably not have requested this. But it’s good to read different types of poetry.

I've had people say to me that they want to read poetry, but find it daunting and a bit scary. If this describes you, then this just might be an excellent collection for you! The poems in this book are like jewels strung on a necklace--each is lovely on its own and when combined create a beautiful whole. The poems are accessible, moving, and sometimes profound, exploring aspects of life from the mundane to the life-altering--a pwerful collection.
