This book is very well written and very addictive, I could not put it down. I loved the description of the setting and the mystery was great.

The opening page grabbed me instantly with a vivid description of the Scottish shore that brought back so many fond memories. The story is about a boy who has lost his hearing in what appears to be an accident. He then goes on to discover that there is something more sinister in his town.
The book is most beautifully written. And the story is absolutely gripping.
