**Important note below...
2.5* Decent collection of techniques to manage conditions related to mental health disorders like stress and anxiety. References are recent, but the research is quite superficial, from websites like: Betterup, Healthline, Psych Central, etc.
The tone of the writing is distant/detached in some parts, but perhaps that's intentional. I would say that if you do not have access to a cognitive behavioral therapist and you want minimal "woo", this might be a great resource for you. There are mnemonic devices/acronyms like TIPP, STOP or DEARMAN to help you remember the best ways to deal with things like: negative thoughts, problem-solving, self-esteem. Be sure to use a journal while you are reading through. It would be most effective to skip around, jumping straight to the technique or issue that you want to address at the moment.
I don't think the tips are harmful, but it didn't work for me personally. So, I decided to bump up to 3* because it could help someone.
