"When I was tiny I clung on to the fur on her tummy."

I loved this book it was super cute, the illustrations are beautiful and perfect for children to enjoy. The book is told with narration and it felt like I was reading one of the chimps diary as you get to learn about little chimps family and the day to day life of a chimp.
The book also includes facts about chimps, a fun activity to do with children, learning more about chimp conservation and the work done by Jane Goodall.
I would definitely pick up a physical copy to read with my nephews.

Thank you Netgalley for a copy of the book for an honest review

As a former kid that religiously toted around an amazing animals encyclopedia to occupy my time, I loved this!

This read would be fantastic for a kid that is interested in animals and nature. It follows a young chimpanzee through its habitat and the behaviors and adaptations it possesses. While the illustrations are great for a young audience, the vocabulary is slightly more advanced, giving young ones the opportunity to grow their own vocabulary.

And to top it off, these books end with several pages of games, crafts, and conservation information about the stories real life counterparts.

Thanks NetGalley for the advanced ARC of this book!

Little Chimpanzee by Anna Brett and the illustrator is Rebeca Pintos is about a Day in the Life of a Baby Chimp. This book made me smile, its the the most adorable, cute and beautifully illustrated book which is great for children.

Within this beautiful little book we learn all about our closest living relatives in the natural

- What happens in their community
- Mum and baby bonding
- How they care for and groom each other
- The social structures and relationships in the group
- Why chimpanzees are endangered

A lovely piece about the Chimp Conservation and about the famous Jane Goodall and the Gombe Chimps.

Little Chimpanzee, has also a quiz with answers and things you can do with your child or class - Hand print chimps, these are so cute.
It is also great for the classroom to get children involved in learning about these wonderful animals.

This book, Little Chimpanzee is from The Really Wild Families series, based on the everyday adventures of wild animals, discover what the littlest members of the family get up to! Through their eyes we will explore their habitats, family dynamics and how they play, grow and survive as a family.

I love the creativity of this book! It’s in a narrative form at the beginning, great for young readers who are interested in a story. The end of the book has fun facts, a craft, and more fun non fiction pages for young readers. This is such a cute way to teach children about chimpanzees! This would be perfect for classroom use or homeschool.
