A story interwoven with the Disney references and the takle of Cinderella. A whimsical feel good weekend read. Both main characters have their sadness, secrets and finance issues to overcome. Neither are particularily confident and neither and particualrily happy at work, but, a fairy tale meeting, a Cinderella romance and some self evealuation leads them donw the path of true love.
Will they confess all to each other, you will need to read it to find out.
Thank you NetGalley and publishers for the arc of A midnight kiss on ever after street by Jaimie Admans.
Cute, cozy and magical. 3/5
A little whimsical with all the Disney references but it was a magical read that you fully immersed in.
I absolutely love jaimie's books. This did not disappoint. I love witt and Sadie and how they bring the best out in each other. Ebony I would love to smack god she is horrible.
A well deserved five stars for this gloriously romantic read from Jaimie Admans ❤️
Perfect Disney fairytale escapism for adults. Unashamedly romantic from the start and I loved it! I’m finding the world such a frightening place at the moment and I totally absorbed myself in Sadie and Witt’s story - I think we all need a visit to Ever After Street just now. Perfect for these troubled times ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a fun story! A truly delightful escape from real life! I enjoyed this fairly tale for adults, (it is rated G, a sweet romance). Even adults can dream, and sometimes those dreams do come true. They did for Sadie. Just as in so many Disney themes, her parents died when she was a child. That molded her life, as you would think it would. She chose happiness, despite the obstacles in her way.
Witt, also loss his parents very early in his life, but he had a different path pushed upon him, and as a result, he grew into a reserved, cautious adult. His spark is still there and once he meets Sadie, it brightens into a flame.
This plot is similar to Cinderella, but the reader not only sees Cinderella’s view, about also the prince’s thoughts. This is a unique take on a well-known theme. I think this was ingenious! I totally adored Witt, and Sadie was well into my heart by a few chapters.
This was the first book that I read by this author, Jaimie Admans, but it will definitely not be the last. I enjoyed her writing style, her wonderful characters and interesting plot. While I do not consider myself a huge fan of Disney and have not seen a few of the movies referenced in this book, I was able to follow along perfectly. I think fans of Disney will be thrilled with this book! I definitely recommend to all that want a fun escape.
I appreciate a beautiful book cover and this one is perfect for the story, and I do love it so much!
I want to thank Boldwood Books and NetGalley for giving me the pleasure of reading the advance reader copy, with no obligation to write a review. My review is written freely as a hobby, and is totally my own opinion, not influenced by receiving the ARC.
A modern magical fairy tale story. I love had Jamie Admans writes. A lovely dress shop ruled by a strict Aunt/ mother. An ace love story. Some great twists. A community who knew what they wanted. Sadie and Witt were great characters . A brilliant happy read. Read it
Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to read this book in return for an honest review. What a lovely, magical, grown up fairytale! I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it as this type of thing is not my usual genre. I will definitely be looking up this author’s other books. I loved Sadie and Witt and I was routing for them all the way. A modern day Disney fairytale. 4 stars from me.
I love a good romance book and this did not disappoint. Well developed, characters, witty banter, what more can you ask for?
Another Jaimie Admans book I absolutely adored.
Sadie works for her aunt Ebony in a Cinderella dress shop. Just the idea of this is AMAZING!
Anyway, she goes to a ball against her aunt's wishes and meets Witt who is absolutely gorgeous and maybe my new male crush. they share an amazing night but like Cinderella, she has to leave at midnight. I forgot to mention they wore masks and so they couldn't see each other but Witt comes to Ever After Street looking for his "Cinderella"
and what we get is Sadie helping Witt out even though she knows it's him but he doesn't (at first) watching them fall in love is just precious and I love the entire town. I want to move there right away and visit the carousel and have my face painted with tiger stripes.
5 Stars for the magical love story and the tale of the castle on Ever After Street. If you love fairytales you will love this real-life one.
5 stars all over
4.5 stars
I'm a sucker for anything involving Disney and this book was a love letter to all the princess movies I grew up with! It was a very swoony read and I can't wait to read more books in this series!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Boldwood Books through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Thank you, Boldwood Books!
Enjoyed it. The book is a cute and fun read, especially if you love all things surrounding Disney and fairytales. It wasn't my favorite by the author, but it still put a smile on my face. Naturally, I want to visit Ever After Street and go into all the stores. I'll ride the carousel, but I'm not getting my face painted like a tiger. The town sounds like a magical place to live. Really it's a mini-Disney World. The shops are all named after Disney movies. Ebony would definitely be the villain in this fairytale. Why would she want to give up control of the shop? She used the store's money to fund all her lavish trips. I'm not sure why it took Sadie so long to stand up to her aunt. She's 35, old enough to realize she's being taken advantage of. I will say Sadie isn't too business savvy. She was selling her $400 dresses for $40. I know she wants to make people happy, but between the cost of material and her time to sew it, she would never make a profit. I couldn't imagine how Witt didn't recognize Sadie. I know he's blind without his glasses, but really. These two suited each other, since they both afraid to tell each other the truth.
Definitely recommend the book. Enjoyed the story, characters and writing style. I could see this made into a movie. It would be the perfect rom-com. Look forward to reading more books by the author. Love the cover of the book.

OK, now my heart rate is slowing down, I can give you all my review of Jaimie Admans Jaimie Admans Books new book due out very soon...
After careful consideration I had to give this book 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
The reason it was after careful consideration is because I was tempted to write to Goodreads, Amazon, Netgalley and all other book review sites and ask them to increase the limit to 100 ⭐️! But then that still wouldn't be enough for this book!!
Once upon a time, I hunted Netgalley day and night for the newest release from my absolute favourite author and then one day, like magic, It appeared!
I got comfy and settled down to read the book I have been waiting for.
From the first page, it had me enthralled, looking for the magic and falling in love with the whole concept of an adult version of a fairytale!
Everyone loves a happy ending and I was so engaged and hopeful that Sadie and Witt could find theirs.
I loved the references to my favourite Disney film Beauty and the Beast, the book is full of little references to lots of Disney films that either you watched as a child or maybe watched with your own children.
The characters had me hook, line and sinker, it completely and utterly pulled me in, held on to me and has not let me go yet.
I am already searching for the next release of the next book and I hope it is about another shop on the street, or the castle and the future of it.
Thank you Jaimie for doing what seems impossible and writing even better books that the amazing ones you write already and finally, thank you so much for mentioning Book Swap Central in the acknowledgements. We are honoured.
Lots of love ❤️
I've been looking out for this first book from Jaimie in her new publishing deal with Boldwood Books. This is one certainly doesn't disappoint with its fairytale themes. The first book is a retelling of Cinderella in a way that talented Sadie has to put up with her aunt calling the shots at her family's dress shop. If you want to disappear into a world with fairytale at its heart but with all the romance and love and happiness of Cinderella then this is absoutely for you.
