Who doesn't want to read a book that is illustrated with all the crayon colours of the rainbow?!
This colourful little gem is a lovely story that discusses responsibility, honesty, and sibling friendship. It's adorable, genuine, and did I mention colourful!!
A great purchase for any age child really; but I'd go with under 5 years old on this one personally. A solid purchase for any child, from any walk of life, as it's a universal story and message that everyone can benefit from.

What naughty kids in this book!!! They are breaking crayons and writing on walls and furniture! The message is that broken crayons still create beautiful things. I think it is too long of a story for the age that it is intended for,

To be honest, I didn't find this one that riveting. The story was long and verbose, and I found that the illustrations were the only thing keeping me interested. The plot itself was mediocre and nothing to write home about--for longer picture books like this, I really do think there needs to be some more interesting wording/choices made. Likely will not add to our library collection, as there are other books that do a better job at teaching this lesson.

I think this book has a good story, but it wasn't what I expected. It appears to be a picture book illustrations, but way more words than a regular picture book. I understand it's hard for 5-8 year olds, but it seems like small text compared to the pages and illustrations. Overall, I'd say this was middle of the road for me.

My 3 and 5 year old boys really enjoyed The Crayon Kingdom. The story is about Luna and Aslan, siblings who love to color but one day break all their crayons. In order to hide the broken crayons they draw all over the walls and furniture. They fall asleep feeling really guilty and have dreams about a magical land called the Crayon Kingdom. They have a great adventure in the kingdom and wake up with a newfound appreciate of their crayons and promise to take better care of them. I love when children's books have a lesson to them and I think this is an important one. The illustrations were fun and colorful. Highly recommend for younger children.

easy to read and for my 5 year old to follow along. she enjoyed the illustrations and characters. i love how the siblings had to work together. i wish there was more interaction with the mother, but i appreciate that there was no yelling or punishment

I thought that this was a good story

I read the story with my 5 year old daughter (it happened to be just after a boy at school was given a blue card warning for eating wax crayons…) so probably good timing!

The story was easy to read and follow and she fully understood the message that the book was portraying too, everyone can make mistakes but its how we learn from them and what we do after that is most important and saying sorry too when we need to

I thought that the illustrations were lovely and they worked well with the story too.

It is 4 stars from me for this one, highly recommended!

Luna & Aslan break all their crayons, and then dream of being in Crayon Kingdom where they come face to face with all the crayons they have mistreated. I liked the illustrations and the lessons were important. However, I definitely think this is for older kiddos because of how “wordy” every page is. My 4 year old would 100% not sit through this story. Overall, a cute book that I would recommend to parents of older kiddos!

Aslan and Luna love their crayons so much! But one day they accidentally broke every single crayon. To make up for it, they…draw all over the walls?
In a dream, Luna and Aslan journey to the Crayon Kingdom, where they make it up to the giant living crayons by taking tiny crayons and coloring to make the big crayons feel happy. The kids still feel bad about their behaviors, so they journey through the crayon forest to reach the crayon King and Queen. I really liked the forest, with the monster and the journey. The little crayons took care of Luna and Aslan, which was very sweet.

Overall, I loved the creativity and message of this book- everyone makes mistakes. It took me a minute to get into, but overall, this was a good book :)
