It’s a nice attempt at providing an overview of the Cuban Missile Crisis, but I’m not sure what it’s really trying to do. The flow jumps all over the place, with the story starting when the US all of the sudden discovers the missiles, then it goes back to the USSR, then comes back to the missile discovery, but does all that in a few pages.
Citation formats change all throughout the book. We get the book’s purpose, intent, scope, and overview, and it’s just not working. It needed an editor too.
